Full-Time Work (Season 2: Day 39)

I finally wore my new "Star Wars" Christmas Sweater today.
Brandon was supposed to wear his too, but he was on location doing drone shots, so he told Vanessa (2nd Camera Assistant) to be his proxy.
Neil (Director of Photography) and Rob (1st Camera Assistant) got into the picture too!  :-)
Am I the Green Ewok?!?
Sure!!!  Hehe...
Kamran had struck again, but this time Riley was the target.  LOL!

Wow!  Brandon (2nd Camera Assistant) decorated their camera cart with Christmas lights!  :-)
Fresh from his trip to Maui, Rob (1st Camera Assistant) got in the spirit too!  :-)

From Race Drivers to Horsemen

I finally got a chance to try-out...
the electric go-karts at Speeders today!
I prefer the clean air here as opposed to all the gas fumes from the other racetracks.  ;-)
Happy Birthday Dave!!!  :-)
After all the racing, I drove over to The Afghan Horsemen to celebrate Kiri's birthday!

Big thanks to her family for treating us all to dinner!!!  :-)

Friday Fun

Gus stayed with us overnight, so we took him for a walk along Main Street.
We also passed by Stavros Autobody to see Niko and his dad.  The MOMMIETRON hasn't seen them in years, so it was a nice reunion!  :-)
In the evening, Niko and I went out for Surf & Turf at The Keg!  :-)
And then we watched "ARRIVAL".  I love this movie and how it makes you keep thinking about it afterwards!!!  Denis Villeneuve has been directing movies that I have to see twice out of enjoyment.  :-)

Nashville Trip (Day 5)

Since our flight wasn't leaving until mid-afternoon, I had a chance to walk around downtown and snap a few shots.  This is the American Prisoner of War walking Bridge.
And this is the view from it.  The bridge overlooks the Cumberland River.
The Schermerhorn Symphony Center, home to the Nashville Symphony.
Time to head back...
and sleep before the long flight home.  ;-)

Big thanks to Mike and SLGI for inviting me on this trip!!!  :-)

Nashville Trip (Day 4)

Most of the people that attended the symposium left today, but Kat and her daughter had the same idea and decided to stay an extra day like us!  This was our last full day in Nashville, so we had a workout and then we went for a swim in our hotel.
In the evening, we all went out for dinner at Merchants.

Gratitude to Mike for dinner!!!  :-)
aka Budweiser.  Haha!
Initially, we all wanted to go to The Blue Bird Cafe to hear some new talent, but most of the locals suggested The Listening Room Cafe because they showcased the same performers, but with a larger venue.  ;-)
This city is a hotbed of very talented musicians and singers!  :-)
Our last night with our new-found friends.
This trip was certainly an entertaining experience!  :-)

Nashville Trip (Day 3)

A sign of things to come, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum...
and the Bridgestone Arena...
aka SMASHVILLE!!!  ;-)
Here's the Ryman Auditorium from outside.
The Printers Alley.
Butler's Run.  :-)
We came across a Rotary Club meeting with a bunch of the state's dignitaries!
After a little siesta, we walked over to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
It's actually connected to our hotel!
Posing with my babe's stuff.
I love Taylor Swift!  :-)
A car?!?
It's the 1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am from "Smokey and the Bandit II"!
There's my girl!
She's contributed so much to this place.
Damn!
Look at all the records.
Damn!!!
Oh wow, a golden piano!
Holy shit, it's Elvis' car!  It even had a little TV inside the back!
But look at this guy's car.
It was decorated with so many guns!  Haha!
Sun Life Global Investments gave us all a free tour of the museum, but now it was time for the festivities!
These are the girls responsible for all the events at this year's symposium.
They did a great job!
After enjoying some food and drinks, Mike and I walked across the street to watch the Nashville Predators play...
and fight the Tampa Bay Lightning!
The Preds won tonight's game by a score of 3-1!!!
Back to we went to the SLGI event.  We arrived just in time to watch Richie McDonald sing a few songs!  "Amazed" was one of them.  :-)
We even got to meet the former lead singer of Lonestar and he gave us all an autographed CD!
We continued our night by dancing at Barlines.
Pondered our next destination,
walked over to Tootsies and danced with Bethany.  We found out tonight that we had a bunch of mutual friends back home!  Haha!
Katrina and I also tore-up dance floor here!
It was indeed a fun night!  :-)
