All the talk about pastries over the phone got Elizabeth and I hungry, so we decided to meet-up for lunch on
Commercial Drive.
LOL! We were both sporting
Onitsuka Tigers by
Asics!
We bumped into Ivette who was also having lunch with a friend!
Our first stop was at
La Grotta Del Formaggio to get a sandwich.

Our meal before dessert...
Then we went to the
Fratelli Bakery to get our pastries!
There was so much to choose from!
I bought so many because I had a hard time choosing.
Needless to say, we got our fill of sugar for the month.
Look what tickets Elizabeth scored for her and Derek! She was all excited to watch
Lea Salonga perform at the
River Rock Casino tonight! It's basically what made us break into song and sing tracks from
"Miss Saigon" while we were eating. LOL!
Later in the evening, Rich and I played our first hockey game of the season! That's me wearing the number
10!
