Parcel Pick-Up

I was on my way to Point Roberts this morning, but then I saw the line-up of cars at the border! It was so long, I decided to park the car nearby and just walk across. ;-) It took me less than 10 minutes to get here on foot! Arriving at my destination... The Letter Carrier... I always use their address when I do my online shopping. It's a simple looking place, but it provides an awesome service! I finally got my Aerospoke and a couple of white Vittoria tires! Later in the afternoon, Rich and I drove to Anthony and Anna's to watch the game. Check out the ride I rented for the weekend! The Ford Flex is pretty pimp. This little guy liked it too! Dinner is served!
Big thanks to Rich and the Agostis for the grub!!!

Volunteer Work & Hockey

I was down at the studios on Byrne Road again, but this time to do some volunteer work. A directors workshop for sitcoms was taking place this week and they needed a few of us to do some acting! We used the various stages on the "Mr. Young" set to do some filming. It was actually my first time at this stage and this workshop was the first of its kind in BC! American sitcom directors flew-up here to teach their various techniques to Canadian directors. The "Mr. Young" TV series shoots with a live studio audience, so if you want to take part in the laughter next season, give them a call at 604-433-0779. What was supposed to be a volunteer stand-in job, turned into a free actors workshop for me and the others! The experience was great and we all had so much fun! :-)
Big thanks to ShowBiz Management and to Sandra Ken Freeman for this opportunity!!! In the evening, it was time to do some skating! Bruce and a couple of his friends came out tonight. "I'm gonna carve you up!" AlMo in the house! Rich! Steve! We got lucky on tonight's session. The rink attendant didn't come to kick us off the ice when our time was up, so we played for an extra hour! The Oval is an incredible facility. I still can't get over the fact that we use an elevator to get to the change rooms. LOL! "I want to be on Team Jacob!"

Jeans Day

I went to Day 2 of the "Smallville" set sale, but this time I brought the MOMMIETRON and Maeva as reinforcements. ;-) The MOMMIETRON with her momma's boy... It's 'caveat emptor' at this sale which is organized by Maynards. You have to pay close attention to the price tags to avoid being overcharged by their cashiers! A little later, I went downtown and ran into the BC Children's Hospital Foundation Jeans Day Celebration in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery! That's Mark Donnelly singing "O Canada"! The mascots... LOL! Even Fin's got a playoff beard! They had some live entertainment here too! I bought a Hot Dog, a Bag of Chips, and a Bottle of Water all for $5 at this event! And I finally found Caroline and the Canucks Street Team! They were handing out some Playoff Towels!

Smallville Set Sale!

I got-up early in the morning to check out the first of a four-day set sale for the TV series "Smallville"! Since they've ended production, they're getting rid of practically everything! I bumped into Marie at the sale! Here she is trying her Oscar dress. ;-) Anyone need a coffin? It's only $40! The sale continues for three more days at Beresford Studios from 10:00 to 18:00. They accept credit cards too! Later in the evening, I watched "Source Code" with Fatty and Lila. It was good. We really liked this one! Wow! I love this display! Skull, baby!
Big thanks to Popa Fatt for the flick!!!

The Panamanians

I had a very early breakfast with Sabine (Showbiz Management) today! Here I (Showbiz Management) am with my 'brother from another mother' aka Alex (Local Color). He was on set as the Spanish Dialogue Coach! They had me (Showbiz Management) riding a bike on this show again! In between set-ups, I listened to all the gossip provided by Amanda (NC Talent Inc.), Mya (Showbiz Management), and Aida (Hollywood North Extras). LOL! Lunch was good! Ivette (Showbiz Management) enjoyed it too!
Production: Click the entry's title.
Type of Call: Cattle, 98 Background.
Length of Call: 12 1/2 hours.
After work, I went over to the Boston Pizza in New Westminster. I met-up with Hien, Holden, and Boris here to watch Game 7 of the Blackhawks vs. the Canucks. I don't even want to bother talking about this dish. It just plain sucked. :-( The guys liked the Wings though. I think I'm done with the food at this place. The highlight of the night though, was when Alex Burrows scored the overtime winner and a guy from a neighbouring table got-up and crouched down towards us and yelled, "Yaaaaaaaahhhh!!!" I swear he must have held his yell for at least a good minute! We all thought he was going to burst a vein or something! The whole night our table was dogging the Canucks and I could tell this guy was getting bothered by us, but he was holding it in. The winning goal basically gave this passive aggressive guy an excuse to transform into the Ultimate Warrior/Incredible Hulk and really stick it to us. All of us at the table were speechless and shocked at this guy's tirade, but it was certainly entertaining! We couldn't stop laughing when he decided to breathe again. LOL!
