Operation: EYE OF THE STORM (Day 6)

There I am, the tanned man having a look at the Saba Rock Resort from our boat. Apparently, there was an earthquake on the islands this morning, but we never felt it because we were on the water. It actually had a magnitude of 6.1! Click here for the details. That's where we were last night. Those are the hills where we rode our scooters. That's the Bitter End Yacht Club. This was a familiar sight, our ships docked beside each other. Jeff still asleep... It was a little cloudy this morning. A woman came by in her dinghy with her son. They were selling jewelry that she handmade herself. Jason in the Wildcat's dinghy... The Offshore Haven and the Wildcat by Saba Rock... We tried to go into town, but our dinghy's engine gave out. We yelled to the others on shore for help and then a kind man from the Bitter End Yacht Club came by to tow us. Jason also responded to our calls and so did another boater from a nearby vessel. Everyone here was so awesome. They were all so willing to provide assistance whenever it was needed. On our way into town now. The path to the resort and shops... Some shots of the Clubhouse Grill... There's our rides! Those are the boats the yacht club uses for their sailing school. These two girls spent the morning swimming. Another shot of the Clubhouse Grill... Walking towards the... English Pub... Lila and Tamara chilled at the end of a pier. Some of the guys relaxed with a few drinks from the bar. I spotted another tarpon swimming around. The girls... The Ed Rocker and Fatty!!! Introducing our babes... Flex played some billiards at the pub. The boys walking around... I took some time to admire this map of the islands. While I was here, I talked to the locals about the earthquake this morning. They said it was a pretty good one and freaked some of them out. Tamara, Fatty, and Lila... From a roach's point of view... My time to chill... Jonas came by to take a shot of me. Oops! We could have used a flash here. Back on board now and ready to leave the harbour... That's when we realized the regatta was on and we had to cross through them! I kept thinking this was a little crazy! But Fatty managed to steer us through it without any problems. We kind of regretted that fact that we didn't stay here another night because this was were the party was going to be for sure. After we cleared the bay, we shut of the engines and hoisted our sails. Here's Lila with the sun setting. There were so many picturesque moments here! So beautiful. The Wildcat approaches... I alternated between Fatty's camera and mine to take these photos. There's a noticeable difference. This one was taken with Fatty's Canon G9. And this one with my Sony Cyber-shot L1... Our boys maxin' and relaxin'... Captain Fatty at the helm... Captain Serious and his crew tacking beside us... You can see Andrew fishing at the back. We always enjoyed these close encounters because they provided a lot of photo ops for us. Taken with my camera... Taken with Fatty's... Andy was always snapping shots on this trip as well. Jeff resting on the netting... Another romance novel cover... The Wildcat passing through the sunset... I just had to get in on this. A few possible desktop wallpapers? Andy showing the photos he's taken so far... I wish I had an DSLR on this trip. Damn, look at that! I got some shut-eye before the party began. And here it goes! Bryan and Andy got all "Lord of the Flies" here. Some craziness ensued onboard the Wildcat! LOL!!! This was truly another level of partying. Tamara and Lila enjoyed the show.
