I Did It Again!!

Yup, here's Chera bright and early in the morning lining-up to the zip-line over Robson Square! Uh oh, she's becoming one of those pin collectors. Ah yes... Starbucks to begin the day... Hercy and Karly came too! The girls and I in the bushes... Hercy, Karly, and Chera... Wearing the Olympic Mittens... There goes a pair. A single... Taz was in the line-up too! Chera signing her life away... Chera showing-off her maple leaves... Here comes Hercy's photo shoot ideas for the mittens. No need to rake these leaves. It was Chera's first time doing this, but for me, it was second go at it. The girls posing with Colin and Angela... We befriended the couple during our long wait in the line-up. I did some modelling to kill some time. "You gotta Be Here!" Karly wrapped my scarf into a turbin. Looking like a Sherpa... "Show-off those gloves, Chera!" The logos are right-side up now. This woman was the most popular person at the time. She works for Ziptrek Ecotours and she was the one who handed-out the tickets for us to go up. As you can tell, we were pretty happy to see her. All suited-up and ready to go... I hung the Canadian flag around my waist! Climbing the tower... Chera on top... EdRocker on top... Chera and Karly on deck... A shot of one of the attendants... Looking down... It took us 5 1/2 hours to get up here! Chera and Hercy...
Time for Karly to go down...Here's a video of Chera's flight!
She was a little scared at first,
but she definitely had fun zipping down.
"Yeah!!!" Chera with her cameraman... The crowds of Robson Square... The weather was awesome today! I love how the streets are so busy around here. We managed to get a photo with a cute Mountie. Chera and Hercy with the Olympic Cauldron... My turn... The city made adjustments to the surrounding fence, so people can get a little closer to it now. Plus, there's a little space in the middle of the wiring to fit your camera through it, so you can take unobstructed photos of the cauldron. As Hercy and I were walking through the International Village, I saw this buttertart stand and I recognized it from Stacie's photos! The man behind the booth is Josiah. Posing with Melanie in front of her store... She's the owner and the baker! We all just happen to be friends of Stacie!!! Here's one of her buttertarts that she hand baked! Did you know the pastry is a Canadian treat? I didn't know that! Make sure to visit Melanie's Buttertarts Divine and try one. It's located inside the International Village Mall at 88 West Pender Street in Vancouver, BC. Contact information: 778-999-8383 & mdawnm@shaw.ca As we continued along the seawall, I bumped into Angela and Anna! They were doing some promoting. Posing outside of the Molson Canadian Hockey House... It was so nice today! Someone's been rock balancing! Seriously, who has the time to do this?!? A shot of the Olympic Village... The Sochi House... Go Canada!!!
