My future Crib...
With Vancouver being dubbed, "Hollywood North" and with all the new condominiums being put up in the city, can't they at least make one like this?

The Tesla Roadster
My friends brought this to my attention. Check out this car, if you haven't already. It's 100% electric and does 0-60 mph in about 4 seconds! It's produced by Tesla Motors, named after Nikola Tesla, a Serbian-American inventor who was an innovative electrical engineer and scientist of his time. The roadster's design is by Lotus Cars, as it's been based on a modified Lotus Elise chassis. Man, this whole world would benefit from this automobile and it's idea, especially with all the carbon emissions being produced these days and damaging the environment. Now, if someone can just lend me $92,950 US, so that I never have to pay for gas ever again.

Taylorwood Wines
This wine store located at 1185 Mainland Street in Vancouver's Yaletown holds free wine tastings from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm every Thursday. After lunch, Misha and I went down to check it out. Fellow background performer, Marie and her Irish co-worker, Peter just happened to be working at the store today, yay! On showcase at Taylorwood Wines, were four different fine wines from British Columbia's Okanagan. Whoa look, where did all these people come from?!?!?
Sweet Potato Fries, Baby II
Earlier today, I met up with Alex and Misha at Joe Fortes for lunch. I guess the word is spreading about the restaurant's Blue Plate Specials, because I arrived there around 2:15 pm and they already ran out of their Jamaican Jerk Chicken dish (the special of the day)! Whatever, we ordered some other dishes and substituted the regular fries with Sweet Potato Fries, Baby!!! Aaaaawww yeeaahhh...

The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Actress Lena Headey, who starred as Queen Gorgo in this year's "300" has been working on another interesting project. "The Sarah Connor Chronicles", a new television series produced by the Fox Network, will have Headey playing the lead role made famous by Linda Hamilton in "The Terminator" movies. I'm excited because the show is set after the second movie and follows the characters, Sarah and John Connor in their attempts to prevent Judgment Day once again. I just hated "Terminator 3" and in my mind, it never existed. Hopefully, this series will follow James Cameron's theory of time travel, that the future is not predestined and that we all have a chance to change it for the better.

Guess who's coming to dinner II
It was such a nice day I thought I'd spend it in Kitsilano.
Here's Chewy again, still wet from his swim at the beach. He didn't look to happy, the poor guy kept shivering.
Invited over for dinner at Julia's (Alex and Misha's mom)...
(Left-Right) Me, Greg, Julia, Alex, and Veronique
We had delicious lasagna and enjoyed a lot of wine. Big thanks to Julia and Greg! There's Misha, relegated to the backseat...LOL

300
I just got back from watching this movie tonight. Alex, Veronique, and I decided to watch it at an IMAX theatre, so we went down to Richmond's SilverCity. I really liked it. There were tons of action for all the boys to enjoy and crazy washboard abs for all the women to do their laundry on. This film is so stylish that it's certainly going to start a trend in film making. After, we didn't exactly "dine in hell", but we did pick up a few sandwiches at Duffin's Donuts.
The Battle
Here's a video clip of my friend, Jacob doing his Capoeira thing. He's the dude that starts from the left, take a look.

Tiger Balm International (Pankration Tournament)
A bunch of us went up to Capilano College's Sportsplex today to watch Thomas compete. It was his first mixed martial arts tournament, so we decided to show up and cheer for the big guy. We all got there around 11:30 am, but Thomas' match didn't even start until 7:20 pm! Basically, we spent the whole day there watching the rest of the competitors fight. There were a lot of children fighting in the beginning, but as the day progressed, the age of the participants increased along with the weight classes of the matches. Todd and I didn't want to leave the stands because we kind of snuck in for free. We were speculating that my "LIVESTRONG" wristband was mistaken for proof of admission. I was too scared to go to the washroom, so I held my pee in for seven hours! Eventually, Thomas did fight. Fifteen seconds into the match, he knocked out his opponent with an illegal kick to his head. He almost got disqualified, but the referees deemed his action, unintentional and allowed him to continue with the fight. His opponent was able to recover and after an exchange of blows, he was able to catch Thomas in a guillotine choke hold. Thomas was brought to submission and had to tap out. It was quite obvious that Thomas was so remorseful for his illegal move, that I think it's what led him to his defeat. When the officials announced the results, his opposition actually raised Thomas' arm, basically admitting that he had already lost to Thomas in the first fifteen seconds of the match. Don't worry Thomas, you'll get him next time and we'll be there to see it. After, we all went to White Spot for dinner and we got Thomas some dessert for his birthday. It was actually his birthday today, can you believe it? This whole experience will just make victory much more sweeter for the 29 year-old.
Frontmen
I just got back from Keely and Launey's place tonight. A whole bunch of us were there to view the finished product of their short film, and to see their newborn son, Treston. I must admit, he's a very cute boy. Most of the actors showed up, along with anyone else involved in the production of "Frontmen". After the screening, what else was there to do, but play a little bit of Texas Hold'em Poker?

Eureka!
I worked on this sci-fi series yesterday for 14 hours at the Vancouver Film Studios. As you can see in this photo, it was raining again. It was a bit of a cattle call, but they're always fun because you get to meet up with a lot of people you haven't seen in a while. Two thirds of the Wrangler Trinity, Ntsikie and Brynn... Here's Julia, Vernard's wife... Sebastian and Daniel solving crosswords... I met Lisa for the first time... New UBCP Apprentice Members, John and George... Crystal flashing her beautiful smile... This girl's awesome. She rides a motorcycle and she used to play "StarCraft"!!! The always entertaining, Sukh enjoys playing baseball during down time. We had two meal breaks because we worked so long. The dreaded boxed lunch and...Aaahhh yes, food off the truck. You gotta love it!!!
