MoPOP & Blink-182

I got a last minute invite from TJ early this morning...
to join her, Camryn, and Patrick for a trip down to Seattle!?!
We checked-out the Museum of Pop Culture first.
Yup, that's a Spinner...
from "Blade Runner"!!!
Here we have a Guitarnado!?!
A bunch of bands were playing live upstairs.
I love the note on top of this Nirvana album cover.  Haha!
In the sci-fi gallery, they had Luke's lost lightsaber!
"David, I'm going to break."
It's Teddy from "A.I. Artificial Intelligence"!
"This little girl survived longer than that with no weapons and no training."  ;-)
"Have you ever retired a human by mistake?"
"Logic clearly dictates, the needs of the many outway the needs of the few or the one."
"Snakes.  Why'd it have to be snakes?"
And here we have Todd's outfit from "TRON: Legacy".  Haha!  (Just kidding.)
Later in the evening, we drove down to Auburn to watch Lil Wayne...
and Blink-182 perform at the White River Amphitheater!!!

Gratitude to TJ for asking me to join them today!!!  :-)

Dinner at SMK

I met-up with Shelley and the girls at the SMK Smokery & Bar!  Jesse prepared a feast for us tonight and it was delicious.  It almost reminded of one of our scenes at work.  ;-)
Since I was in Tsawwassen, it was a simple trip over the border to pick-up one of my parcels.  ;-)
The Obi-Wan Lightsaber was a rare one for so many years, but they finally re-released it!  :-)

TCAOS (Day 104)

Move over, there's a new Dark Lord in the town of Greendale!  ;-)
Earlier today, Griffin (Lamp Operator) worked on modifying the Red Lightsaber...
or this guy (Lucas Talent) would have been pissed!  ;-)
Eeee, this little girl was in charging of the light & bell control!?!
A Tale of Two Robs.  LOL!
Jordan (InspirationAll) was a prince!
That's Denis (Dolly Grip)!  That's the Warrior!
Nice outfit, Bindu (A-Camera Operator).  LOL!
This Warrior is wearing one of my wigs!?!
Briana (Make-up Assistant) saw me (Lucas Talent) pass by and instantly wanted to get a photo,
but no one does that unless they get the Dark Lord's permission.  Hehe...
A Punisher, a Sith Lord, and a Warrior were sitting on the steps of Baxter High...
This gorilla was our B-Camera 1st Assistant!?!
Go Holly (Dolly Grip), go!
I thought our Key Grip, Vince suited the helmet much better.  ;-)
Oh, and he went with it!  He couldn't stop thanking me for the opportunity.  :-)
And then there's Brett (2nd Assistant Director).  LOL!
Whoa!  Chris has his own chair now?!?

Happy Halloween, Friends!!!  :-)

Science!!!

Here it is, one of the lightsaber props used by Mark Hamill in "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back"! :-)
I went to Science World this afternoon...
with the Deumas to check it out.  It was on display at The Science of Ripley's Believe It or Not section.
"Impressive, most impressive."
And here's where the original prop came from,
the Graflex Flashtube!  I love how many so-called experts claim this prop is a fake.  They probably think there was only one Lassie used in all those dog movies too.  ;-)
Now, who would actually use this chair?
Oh, I guess maybe this guy!  I'm at BJ level to this guy!?!  LOL!
We went downstairs where Hilda powered the Hamster Wheel!
Before leaving, I tried spinning a plate.  Haha!
We were all hungry,
so walked over to Honey Salt...
at the new Parq Vancouver for a late lunch!  :-)
In the evening, more science at Jason and Carol's place!
I brought Terraforming Mars and taught everyone how to play it because I just had to get my fix this weekend.  ;-)
As you can see, they all did quite well!  :-)

Gratitude to Jason & Carol for hosting!!!
