Happy Birthday Shellaine!!!

It was dinner at Cobre tonight to celebrate Shellaine's birthday! We had a whole room to ourselves here. "This is the birthday girl!" Char grilled Pemberton Meadows flat iron steak Tijuana baby ceasar y chorizo buttermilk mashed papas... Ron and I are brothers from other mothers. ;-) Since it was my first time here, I walked around for a bit and took photos. It's nice here! The top level... And the bar... Here comes the cake! "Blow it out, Shellaine!" Filipino Gothic... Shellaine and her sisters... Oli and Mon... More photos around the room... So many legs! They've got legs and they know how to use them! ;-) The birthday girl with all the boys... Happy Birthday Shellaine!!! We eventually left Cobre and walked over to Calabash. Sorrelade and Banofee Pie... Shellaine and the others went downstairs to dance, but they were charging cover, so I took-off to meet Lisa and Niki at the Caya Davie Street Dance Party. A lot of singing... and dancing here tonight! We all walked down to... Checkers for karaoke! Yum! "Dance baby, dance!" Mark was here too and he let us come up with him to sing! Posing with the Mountie... Awww, this little girl reminded me of Monroe. She kept crying for her owner to come back. :-(

Dessert & Song

St. Andrew's - Wesley United Church was so well-lit tonight! Looks like it's being used as a film location right now! Lila and I both have a day-off tomorrow, so we went out for a bit! She'd look pretty good with short hair, eh? We stopped by Maxine's Hideaway to discover that they sing musical theatre pieces here on Monday nights! With the long-shutter... With flash... Cheesecake for Lila and Creme Brulee for moi. Later, we crossed the street to Checkers for a little karaoke! It was Lila's first time here.
It's been over a month since I sang here. Edwina and I were regulars at this bar.
Rockin' the mike... Actually, there's a new karaoke host at this place. Thanks for coming out, Lila!!!

Fitting & Singing

This afternoon, I went down to Mammoth Studios for a wardrobe fitting. I took MOMO with me, so on the way back I snapped a few photos. Here she is in front of the Global BC Studio. Now, on a bridge along one of the bike paths in Burnaby. There are bike paths all the way from the studio to Vancouver! In the evening, a bunch of us went to Checkers for karaoke! Elizabeth got serenaded by one of the patrons. The girl of the hour, Edwina gets on stage... It was a bit of a going away party for her. She's leaving for Los Angeles next week! We had to put a bunch of tables together to accommodate our numbers. Mark Zulu on the mike... Derek, Elizabeth, and Nadine... Andre came out this time! Tiffany, Brandon, and a hot wing... Andre sang Journey's "Don't Stop Believing". Je suis sad parce que Edwina is leaving. A couple of "Miss Saigon" fans... Group song... Tiffany's turn to get serenaded... Lovin' it... Husband and wife... Friends... Brandon with late arrival, Dave...
Tiffany strikes a pose... Facial close-up...
