Pinkys with Jeff

I couldn't pass this one up. I saw these two Miatas on my way to the laundromat early this afternoon. I just had to take a photo of them. I wonder if a pair of twins own the cars. I met-up with Jeff for dinner at Pinkys! He's in town training at the Richmond Olympic Oval. I got the server to pose with our Olympic hopeful. We saw Dave as he was walking to The Noodle Box. Jeff's salad... Cheese Toast... Jeff ordered the Sirloin. We shared the Yam Fries. I got my usual, their Rib Eye! The "after" shot... I ordered the Banana Bread Pudding for dessert! I love the food here and it's all 50% off on Mondays!

Pinkys with Rich

Rich and I went down to Pinkys Steakhouse & Cocktail Lounge to indulge in their 'Monday Club'.  All the food on their menu is 50% off today!!! I ordered their Ribeye. Rich had their Halibut. Yam Fries, baby! Phone calls at the dinner table?  Rude!!! Chelsey, our wonderful server... Moi... Dumbass thinking... He ordered some more because he wasn't full yet. Prawns... Cheese Toast...  I love this place, especially on Mondays!  Excellent food and service here.

Dinner at Pinkys

As planned, Nick and I met for dinner at the Kitsilano location of Pinkys Steakhouse & Cocktail Lounge. While waiting to be seated, we bumped into Greg!  I haven't seen this guy for so long. This place was packed because of it's special pricing on Mondays. Their Cheese Toast is always a hit. Nick and I both had their Rib Eye Steak with some Yam Fries! This is going to be my Monday meal forever!  Fuck, I love steak! After our entrees, we ordered their dessert sampler.  It consisted of their Chocolate Pecan Pie, Banana Bread Pudding, and their Key Lime Pie. Our favourite though, was the Bread Pudding!  This place is worth many return visits.

Later in the evening, Rich and I went down to Yaletown... To eat at Pinkys! We came here with the intention of eating from their Dine Out Menu, but after looking over the regular menu, we decided otherwise. First we ordered their Yam Fries. Here's Rich taking a bite. That's me with the steak knife. I opted for the 16oz Rib-eye Steak with Fettucine!!! Rich got the Almost Famous 12oz Hawaiian Rib-eye with their Plush Potato. Just awesome!!! The chandeliers in this restaurant looked like a spaceship's exhausts. There were some funny paintings hanging from the ceiling.  Check this place out when you get a chance.  It's located at 1265 Hamilton Street, Vancouver, BC.
