Christmas Day 2014

This is the new look of the EdRocker CIC.  :-)
Awww, Gus and his mommy look all comfy this morning.
Someone else looks comfy, but in my new jacket!
I met-up with Jo, Alex, and Charles this afternoon...
for a matinee of "Big Eyes".  We all worked on it and it was actually really good!  I was pleasantly surprised.  :-)
In the evening, I drove-up to the Kobitzschs for some eats.
Gus was still wearing his jingle bells!
He didn't mind it at all.
I think he actually liked them.  :-)

Big thanks to Charlene and Brian for having us over!!!

Laundry Day

While waiting for my laundry to dry, the MOMMIETRON and I hung-out at the nearby Starbucks. That's when I noticed a familiar sight hanging on the wall. It was a photograph of the Baths of Virgin Gorda! Man, it sure brings back memories of my trip to the British Virgin Islands back in 2008. :-)

A Busy Thursday

This is how I wait for my laundry to be done, with a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate and a Banana Loaf from Starbucks. My load was so huge this time, I had to borrow Rich's truck! Big thanks to him for lending me his ride!!! Later in the evening, Popa Fatt and I had dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory after our session at Yoga for the People. Pesto Linguine with Grilled Chicken was what I ordered. It's similar to my favourite dish at Milestones. On our walk back home, we noticed the city's new parking metres. I guess now there's no excuse to not being able to pay the metre. ;-) Fatty pointed out that they've got solar cells on the back. Nice! When we got to the apartment, I finally met Slashy Cat. Anelore dropped him off here for the day. Cute! I'm tired too. :-)

A Belated Mother's Day

It was time to take out the MOMMIETRON today. Since the Sun Run fell on Mother's Day, I wasn't able to hang-out with her then. Here she is with the Digital Orca sculpture at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Ohhh, it's by Douglas Coupland! It looks better from far away. Pretty cool, eh? The weather was awesome today! I bought the MOMMIETRON her favourite for lunch, the Filet-O-Fish. I know it seems budget, but I've taken her to fancier restaurants and all she gets is an upset stomach. My wallet doesn't seem to mind though. ;) After our meal, we walked over to Pauline's work, Mount-Cashmere. www.mountcashmere.com They've got nice colours here! A lot of their products are on sale, so now is the time to do some shopping here! There's Pauline in the back! I could wear this stuff. 100% Pure Cashmere
There are 3 locations in British Columbia: Downtown Vancouver at 806 West Hastings Street, Oakridge Centre at 251-650 West 41st Avenue, and Whistler at 125-4090 Whistler Way. Thanks to an email from Tina, we walked over to a Starbucks to get a Frappuccino at half-price! The offer is only available from 3 pm to 5 pm until May 16. Let me tell you, it gets fucken busy at that time! "Have a sip, Mom."
