A Hump Day-Off

It was a perfect day-off.  Kelvin even met his new girlfriend at Jack Poole Plaza!  Here she comes, walking towards us in the middle.  LOL!
Woohoo!  Vanessa took a taxi over to join us at the Fairmont Pacific Rim!

Natalia's Back!

After over 12 years, Natalia is back in our city, but only for a few days!  She's been a busy girl since then
I met Natalia back when Fatty still had his Heaven On Earth Gallery & Cafe!  A lot of things have changed in our city since then, so I took her for a little tour of our sights.
We enjoyed a couple of drinks and dessert at the Fairmont Pacific Rim...
before heading over to The Roxy to see Fatty.
Cat was working tonight as well!
It was great to see Natalia again, but she leaves for Bali, Indonesia this Sunday.  Since 2008, she's been running The Safe Childhoods Foundation to prevent crimes against children in developing countries!  Please visit the website and support the cause.

Nic's in Town!

LOL!  I'm creating my own fleet outside my place.
Nicolette's in town because of last night's Jay Z & Justin Timberlake Concert!  She's already gotten a chance to enjoy some Pavlova.  :-)
In the evening, I met-up with her and the Deumas at JAPADOG.
The Terimayos are the way to go.  ;-)
Thanks for the Honey Doughnut!!!  :-)
Time to walk the streets of Downtown Vancouver.
We passed by Coast because Almond and Cynthia were having dinner with Carlo and Nhaji!
The De Guzmans were in town for last night's concert as well.
"Nice shoes Cyn!"
Of course we have to bring Nic to JJ Bean.  ;-)
And Jack Poole Plaza.

Nicolette and our Olympic Cauldron.

"Where's that damn elevator?!?"
We finished-off our night with a visit to Jenn at the Fairmont Pacific Rim.

I think I should make this my new hangout.  ;-)

Another Olympic Walkabout

I went downtown again to check-out some more Olympic stuff. I've never noticed the artwork on this rock before. It has faces and bodies all over it! On my way to the Vancouver Art Gallery, I bumped into Jimmy and Jillian with their twin daughters! I can see Jimmy's eyes better in this one. Since the line-ups at the other venues were getting long again, I walked over to the Vancouver Art Gallery Offsite. I wanted to take a closer look at these miniature houses by Ken Lum. This is probably the only waterfront property in Vancouver I could afford. Who am I kidding? I probably can't afford this either. :( I wanted to see the Olympic Cauldron one last time. The trick is to catch the flames when they're nice and high. I'm going to be sad to see this go. The cubicle suite at the Fairmont Pacific Rim caught my eye a couple of days ago. I wonder if you can book it. It'd be awesome for a stag! "We are Borg. You will be assimilated."
