Fatty's Pet Project (Day 1)

Like I told Boris, "This one's for Vin!" I'm bringing ninja suits back into style! Fatty's got a new camera to fool around with, so we started to work on his new idea! There's Lila at our first location. Hilda, Carina, and Boris came by to drop-off a couple of Sun Run kits. Fatty is taking Boris' place in the run because Boris separated his shoulder while snowboarding in Whistler last week. Now, Lila's got a running mate! It was Lila's first time meeting Carina. "I found this little girl and I'm keeping her," said Lila. LOL! Thank goodness the weather co-operated with us. At our second location now... Time for me to work. MOMO was on the job too. I was really having fun on this shoot! It's a wrap for today. Before ending our night, we fuelled-up at the Old Spaghetti Factory for tomorrow's 10k run. ;-)

A Busy Thursday

This is how I wait for my laundry to be done, with a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate and a Banana Loaf from Starbucks. My load was so huge this time, I had to borrow Rich's truck! Big thanks to him for lending me his ride!!! Later in the evening, Popa Fatt and I had dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory after our session at Yoga for the People. Pesto Linguine with Grilled Chicken was what I ordered. It's similar to my favourite dish at Milestones. On our walk back home, we noticed the city's new parking metres. I guess now there's no excuse to not being able to pay the metre. ;-) Fatty pointed out that they've got solar cells on the back. Nice! When we got to the apartment, I finally met Slashy Cat. Anelore dropped him off here for the day. Cute! I'm tired too. :-)

Rides & Eats

Look familiar? It's Killarney Market, the location Michael Buble used in his "Haven't Met You Yet" music video! When I lived in this area, it used to be an IGA. I grew-up in this neighbourhood, so when I watched the video, I quickly recognized the grocery store. Anyways, on to my target destination, the M&M Meat Shops Charity Barbecue at Champlain Mall! Thanks to some intel from Niki, I enjoyed a burger for just $2.50! Eventually, I met-up with Jorge, Hercy, and Nayeli downtown to do some bike riding. I was in awe of the two Holland America cruise ships docked at Canada Place. They just looked like floating hotels. So I'm just humming "Star Trek" as I'm biking around Stanley Park, when I hear someone to my left humming along... It was Bill! Third Beach... It was beautiful today! Add the seawall. Nayeli and English Bay... Tulips! SpandyAndy! After our ride, we decided to get something to eat at the Calling Public House. No way was I keeping MOMO locked outside unattended. "Cheers!" After Lila's first bike got stolen while they were at a restaurant, I've been paranoid about keeping MOMO out of my sight. Sliders made with AAA Alberta Beef Striploin... They were good, but expensive. The girls' food... Later in the evening, I went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner with my fellow Sun Runners. Waiting with Amanda and Tara for our table... The Green Bibbers... I just loved the fact we got a table in the train car! Todd's going to be wearing a Yellow Bib tomorrow! I'm wearing a White one. We totally loaded-up on carbs tonight! Good call you guys!!! The question, "Can I chew on your face?" came to mind when I saw this billboard as I was waiting for the Skytrain.
