Angela Meets the Deumas!

Angela finally got a chance to meet Boris, Hilda, and Carina today! Looks like the Deuma invasion has begun. Carina admired the leaf impressions on the sidewalk with her new friend, Angela. Boris has a good eye. ;-) After eating a Japa Dog, the Deumas got a Creme Puff at Beard Papa's. The girls getting all weird with their stuffed animals... LOL! We eventually parted with the invaders to do our Country Two-Steppin' class tonight. After our dance session, Angela and I watched "The Town". This movie is fucken AWESOME!!! It's a must see fo' shizzle! Gratitude, Babe!!!

Chillin' on Sunday

After doing a little shopping downtown, Angela and I made a little stop at Japa Dog. She loves the Wasabi Mayo. Then we picked-up a Creme Puff at Beard Papa's. Look what Angela signed us up for, Country Two-Step lessons! We had our first session tonight at the Urban Beat Dance Company. It was fun! For dinner, we went to the Moose for $6.99 Steak & Prawns. I think I need to whiten my teeth again. We met-up with the newlyweds, Andrea and Dave! Marriage is looking good for these two. ;-)We had to leave early to watch "Machete". It was entertaining, but I should have waited for a download instead. Angela and the City... Thanks, Babe!!!

Gone Curling!

Before going curling, I met-up with Niki this afternoon at Surrey's Central City to buy some Cream Puffs from Beard Papa's. Then we had some dinner at Olive Garden! We were so full that we weren't able to eat the Cream Puffs yet. We finally arrived at the Langley Curling Club! They're holding an open house for beginner curlers! They thought the Olympics would bring interest to the sport and they were right! Here we are receiving orientation. On the ice now, learning how to sweep... LOL! Niki throws her first rock... I was teacher's pet! ;) It was a little tricky at first, but I got the hang of it. There's the other group learning the ropes. The rocks... PBO throwing... She fell on her ass after letting go! LOL! We were all having fun learning the sport! "Go Niki, Go!" The staff here were so awesome! And friendly too. Niki throws another... Time for me to sweep! LOL! It was tiring! "Let's do it again!" I got some help this time. "Hurry! Hurry Hard!" Man with Broom... Tomorrow is the last day of their open house. The ice is getting melted at the beginning of next month. I'd come again, but I have to work. :( A couple of shots from above... You can't go wrong with free lessons. Our experience gave me a new found respect for this winter sport and its players. They've got skills! After our session, we finally got a chance to gorge on our dessert! Gratitude towards the instructors and to Niki for a fun day!!!
