Sunday Rain

Ohhh, poor Gus.  I think he spent most of the day inside because it was so wet outside.  :-(

I didn't do much either, but I did manage to take the MOMMIETRON out to White Spot for dinner.  :-)

Thursday Runaround

Looks like Mr. Bluenose is digging his new home!  I pulled the switch on him yesterday.  ;-)

After the MOMMIETRON's follow-up appointment with the eye doctor, we drove over to Oakridge Centre and...

grabbed a bite at White Spot before doing some groceries.

In the late afternoon, I met-up with Kelvin at the Steel Toad Brewpub & Dining Hall.  It's been awhile since I've had a beer and I've come to a realization, beer makes my shit stink.  LOL!  Their Happy Hour Special of Pizza & Beer for $11 is really good!  :-)

After our meal, we went over to the UBCP/ACTRA meeting at the Four Seasons Hotel.

We heard more details of the upcoming UBCP/ACTRA BCMPA Ratification Vote for the Memorandum of Agreement for the BCMPA.  I don't like it, but you should take a look and decide for yourself.

Lunch at White Spot

After my dentist appointment this morning, I picked-up the MOMMIETRON from the eye doctor and we went for lunch at White Spot!  Then I took a nap.  Hehe...

2013 Sun Run

It was race day for the Vancouver 2013 Sun Run this morning!  

Boris and I walked over to the Steve Nash Sports Club for an after-run stretch and shower.  At this particular moment, I was a little disappointed and unsure of my performance,

but then a few hours after, Todd texted me the good news.  I finally attained my goal of recording a time below 45 minutes in this 10k!  44:34 baby!!!  

Fuck yeah!!!  :-)

Huh, I guess these shoes really do work.  LOL!  Honestly though, it was the most comfortable run I've had in years.

Eventually, Boris and I met-up with Hilda and the kids and we drove over to White Spot for lunch.

This restaurant is very kid friendly.  ;-)

Oh by the way, Boris' time was 52:02, his personal best in a 10k!

We finished-off our day with a pit stop at JJ Bean.  ;-)

After working-out on my chest at the gym, I called-up Adriana and we had a couple of Mochas at my place aka JJ Bean.  ;-)

In the evening, it was time for a barbecue at Jericho Beach with Daniel and his family!

The de Pedrinas are famous for having the best chicken cookouts in the city.

Just looking at that makes my mouth water.

This party used to take place on their farm, but Mrs. de Pedrina had other things in mind.  LOL!

Payday!

While picking-up some cheques at ShowBiz Management, I bumped into Simon and Marie! I don't know about you guys, but I think they make a good-looking couple. ;-) Kelvin told me that the new Steve Nash Fitness World Brentwood location was open, so I decided to check it out for myself. It's not bad, pretty big and quite spacious, but I still prefer my Sports Club. Actually, I bumped into Kelvin here working-out. LOL! After all the talk about White Spot's Milkshakes with RT yesterday, I couldn't take it anymore, so I decided to have lunch at one today! :-)

A Night of "DUNE"

"Hi Drew!" I grabbed a bite to eat with Tara and Todd at White Spot. Just a little pitstop on our way to Shane and Michelle's tonight. Could these two be the new couple of 2010? "A Legendary Burger for me and substitute the Fries with Sweet Potato Fries, please." Gratitude to Shane and Michelle for inviting us over to watch "DUNE"!!! I don't know if the girls enjoyed it much though. LOL! While waiting for the Skytrain home, I spotted another billboard of one of my favourite Vancouver Canucks, Kirk McLean!

Point Roberts & Dolls

Big thanks to Julia for driving me all the way to Point Roberts this afternoon!!! I had to run a few errands down here and she had a day off, so it was perfect. There's really nothing to see here though, but I'm sure it's beautiful on a sunny day. When we got back to our side of the border, Julia and I dropped by the local White Spot for a bite to eat. Later in the evening, I went over to Phoenix's place. I took some more photos of his impressive collection. I can only imagine owning these. Boobies!!! Exposed boobies!!! Thanks for having me over Phoenix!!!
