Rob's Birthday

Rob had a bunch of us over for some cake...
and karaoke to celebrate his birthday!
And this is Marco, writer and director of "Bucketheads: A Star Wars Story"!  :-)
This was my kind of party, alright.  Especially for the fact that home was just a short walk away.  Haha!

Happy Birthday, Rob!!!  :-)

Dinner at Westwood Plateau

It's hard to turndown dinner at the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club, so when Hilda invited me, it was a no-brainer.  ;-)
Of course, we ended the night with some dancing!  :-)

Dinner at SMK

I met-up with Shelley and the girls at the SMK Smokery & Bar!  Jesse prepared a feast for us tonight and it was delicious.  It almost reminded of one of our scenes at work.  ;-)
Since I was in Tsawwassen, it was a simple trip over the border to pick-up one of my parcels.  ;-)
The Obi-Wan Lightsaber was a rare one for so many years, but they finally re-released it!  :-)

Christmas Shopping

Holiday shopping is pretty easy for me since I only buy gifts for one person.  ;-)
The MOMMIETRON's got a new pair of shades!  Hehe...

Party at the Deumas

I went over to Boris and Hilda's tonight for some food...
and games!  :-)

TCAOS (Day 138)

Finally, our cast and crew photo, on our last day of filming no less!  This almost didn't happen if it weren't for the efforts that Chuck (Grip) and I (Lucas Talent) put in today.  Yesterday, I confided to Chuck that I was a little disappointed that we didn't get a crew photo for our first year of production.  He responded, "Well, fuck!  Let's do it on our own!  We'll schedule it tomorrow during lunch, five minutes before we have to go back to work."  And that's what we did!  I chose the venue and we spread the word around the studio.  The following morning, I spoke to construction to keep a couple of the entrances open to the Grand Hall.  During our lunch break, Chuck and Ben (Grip) positioned the chandeliers properly and I cleared the floor of any furniture while Kevin (Visual Effects) set-up his camera.  Even though we're missing half of our cast and crew due to scheduling, I think the result of our efforts was quite fruitful!  :-)
It was only when they had me (Lucas Talent) stand-in for Lucy's character, that I started to work full-time on this production.  ;-)
Indeed, it has been an absolute pleasure working alongside with Christine (Local Color), a true professional!  :-)
I just couldn't pass-up a chance to take a photo of Toby (Construction) with this lighting.  It was very fitting.  Haha!
Our final day was starting to wind down with a move to our last scene.
(Lucas Talent) went blonde for one more time this year.  ;-)
My second home looks so empty now.  :-(

Congratulations to our awesome cast and crew for a job well done!!!  :-)

We got more swag today!  Netflix gave all of us a duffel bag and our production office created a yearbook filled with photos of our cast and crew!  Gotta love Melania's (Office Production Assistant) photobomb.  LOL!
Damon (Lamp Operator) is probably the coolest cookie in our industry.  He's so chill!
And one of the nicest guys in the business is Michael (Special Effects)!  It's been a pleasure to be reunited with him on this production.  :-)

CJ (Rigging Gaffer) dropped-off some of his family's chocolates!
One last shot and one last goodbye with Jill (Assistant Background Costumer).  :-(
Nothing to see here except for the Scarecrow chilling with Paul (Genny Operator).  Hehe...
That's it, Amanda's (2nd Assistant Director) had enough!  Haha!
Rogue Squadron in the Spellman House!!!  :-)
Enjoying coffee with Wardwell's dolls.  ;-)
The Charlie Bar Coffee Truck awarded me (Lucas Talent) a prize for posting about them on social media!

Merci, Kelly!!!  :-)
Reaping my rewards inside Baxter High's library.
Big thanks to Chuck (Grips) for the comic book!!!  :-)

TCAOS (Day 135)

Gaelle (A-Camera 2nd Assistant) dropped by our set today to pack-up her stuff before she heads-off to France for the holidays!
(Lucas Talent) was so sad that she got to wrap early because we really love her!  She's mon Petit Chou a la Creme.  ;-)
I got a call from the production office this afternoon to pick-up a crew gift from Special-K!
It was a big throw blanket with our show's logo embroidered on it!  We all loved it!  :-)
And guess who's this.
It's Jill (Background Costumer)!
She was back because we had so many background performers today.  I (Lucas Talent) really missed her because she's been on another show for the past few months!
Kat (Make-up Assistant) tried on my mask...
and so did Maracel (Make-up Assistant).  Haha!
It was also Schiva's (Background Coordinator) last day with us.  :-(
She (Background Coordinator) was starting to feel nostalgic, so TJ (Background Costumer) and I (Lucas Talent) took photos with her.  ;-)

Type of Call: Stand-in.
Length of Call: 13.4 Hours.

TCAOS (Day 134)

Christine (Local Color), along with everyone else on this crew were happy that they don't have to come back here anymore for this season.  LOL!
The forecast called for bad weather, but it was actually quite pleasant today.
Jodi (Stunt Coordinator) in stunt-mode, giving Chance direction in our scene.
Griffin (Lamp Operator) and Cam (LX Best Boy) look-on.
Mike and that good-looking hat.  ;-)
Kelly and Denis on a "B-Lax".  ;-)
Mark (B-Camera Operator) is our only hope.  Hehe...
We make our scenes look pretty.  ;-)
Ohhh...  Look at this chubby Lab!
He's the resident pooch and was smart to look for food here.  So cute!  :-)
Sean (Key Grip) is one of my favourites from our Tandem Unit!
He's always down for our on-set gambling and fried chicken.  Haha!  I (Lucas Talent) hope to work with him soon.
We had one more scene for night and then we were done.  Thank goodness the weather wasn't so bad as we expected.  :-)
