Helping Friends Out

I rode all the way to Mission this morning...
to work on my friends' passion project.
Choose your weapon wisely.
Carol was rockin' away.
I thought of Bert right away for this.
He had the perfect look for this scene!  ;-)
I'm forever grateful to these guys which is why I'll always help them anyway I can.  :-)

Canadian Firearms Safety Course (Day 2)

We were back for our last day and the testing phase of this course.  I'm happy to say that I passed!  :-)  The next step now is to apply for the Possession Acquisition License (PAL).  ;-)

Canadian Firearms Safety Course (Day 1)

I finally decided to take this course after putting it off for so many years.  I went with Silvercore because they scheduled the session close to my home.  Our instructor, Mike was very informative and funny!  We're back for more tomorrow.  :-)

Affogato, Guns, and Gentlemen

After a quick go-see this afternoon, I treated myself to an Affogato at Earnest Ice Cream.
In the evening, I drove over to DVC Ventures...
to shoot guns with...
Mitchell and...
Boris.
We finally cashed-in our Social Shopper vouchers...
after procrastinating this whole time like the rest of the bunch that bought them.  They happen to expire next week.  No more Social Shopping for me.  I'm done with crap that have restrictions and expirations.  ;-)
Once we used-up all our bullets, we kicked back in the VIP...
and watched "Kingsman: The Secret Service"!  Now, this was a fun movie to watch!!!  :-)

Lunch & Guns

I met-up with Viki after the gym, so we could pick-up our tax forms together!
We decided to conduct our business at Cactus Club.  She needed to get some tips from me on how to fill it out.  ;-)
This is such a great location!
We both ordered the same thing!  Haha!
Try not to eat too much Key Lime Pie because you'll inadvertently support a Mexican drug cartel behind the recent lime shortage.  ;-)

While we were eating, Deb sent me a photo of Melody and her hard at work.  :-)
In the evening, Lauren and met-up and we drove down to DVC to fire-off some rounds!
It was Lauren's first time to shoot a gun,
so she got a few pointers from our supervisor Roy.
She was a little nervous at first,
but she had the gumption to pull the trigger.
She started-off with a Glock.
Haha!
She just heard a shotgun blast!
She couldn't believe how loud it was.  LOL!
Back in business.
This time she tried a Sig Sauer and preferred above the Glock
"Move aside rookie."
I haven't been here in years!  Actually, the last time I fired a gun was on set.
Lauren's such a cutie pie.  :-)
"Not bad Lauren!"
Haha!  She switched our targets.
On our way back, we made a little detour at the Hard Rock Casino.
Time to hang loose!
Time to blow this popsicle stand.  ;-)

Shellaine & Ron's Wedding (Day 2)

Oh wow, what a nice morning!
I joined Gerald at the gym for an early workout.
"Down...
Up...  Come on, more energy!"
Time to take a closer look at the dolphins.
"He showed-off splashing around..."
I'm so opposed to these dolphin parks after watching "The Cove", but I might as well photograph them since they're right in front of me.  :-(

You can't help, but be amazed by them.
Apparently, they're in heat too!  LOL!
After working-out, I joined Faye for some yoga under the gazebo.
Our instructor was Luis from the resort's Entertainment Team.
Shortly after our session, he held a rifle shooting competition!
It was hilarious how close the targets were to the patrons at the bar!
It was a pellet gun, but still a hazard regardless.
"Is this thing loaded?"

I came close, but never did hit the target.  :-(
The girls were actually better!
It was a good day to lay by the beach!
While we hung-out here, my room was being switched over.

I finally got the king-size bed...
with a view of the ocean and the dolphin pool!  :-)
I grabbed some lunch at the World Cafe.
And then watched some people pay to swim with dolphins.

The dolphin-powered lift...

It looks fun,
but I just couldn't do it.

The dolphin drag...

Reward time.
What a cutie!
Dolphins are slick.
PBO approaching!
Another dolphin drag.
This one's jumping over the peeps!
Oh wow, a whale tail!
Popozuda!!!
Time for some rest on the big bed.
In the evening, a bunch of us went out to Oceana for dinner.
The Arrachera Mar y Tierra (aka Surf & Turf) was good here!
I ordered a Creme Brulee and some Coffee with Baileys for dessert.  ;-)
Ewa and Michelle on the swings...
Lining-up the Lemon Drops...
With flash...
Back to the lounge we go!

I eventually made my way to Desires because...
Itzel and Emily were hosting a karaoke night!
Who's my favourite resort employee?
Fun times, but it only lasted for an hour.  :-(
Kayla, another member of the Entertainment Team looked for people who were interested in going clubbing tonight.  She's actually from Langley, BC and...
happens to be Emily's roommate!
The girls...
Look at this fucken place.  There's only one official exit from the pyramid rooms!  If the middle of the pyramid was blocked, the only way I could get out would be to jump into the dolphin pool.  This resort would never pass Canadian or American building codes.
I ordered some Arrachera to my room to end the night.  ;-)
