After work, I spotted a double-rainbow when I went to pick-up a parcel at Point Roberts!  :-)

4 Birds with 1 Stone

Apparently, Sarah is now confined to her bed because of her new scarf.  LOL!
Turns-out all three of us had parcels to pick-up at Point Roberts, so we all planned a little day trip to the south.  Kelvin found out what I was doing and asked me to pick-up one his packages too!
When we were done, I suggested we pass by Steveston for something to eat.
It was actually Shawn and Sarah's first time here!
Of course I took them to Pajo's for some fish & chips!
We only go for high-class halibut!  LOL!  :-)

Christmas Shopping & Partying

I met-up with the Deumas this afternoon at Pacific Centre.  It was raining, so we decided to stay indoors.  ;-)
I was kind of curious to see the amount of foot-traffic the Sony Store attracted at this time of the day.
Poor Sony...
Now, let's compare the amount of customers inside...
the Apple Store!
Holy smokes, right?!?
Poor, poor Sony...  ;-)
Time for some photos at Canada Place.
This area was pretty quite until we showed-up.  The Deumas started using the props, then all of a sudden a line-up started to form!  Haha!
My last stop with the family was at the Panaderia Latina Bakery.  I was hungry, so I ordered a Beef Sandwich with Avocado.  It was so good, I'm craving another one as I'm typing this entry!  :-)
In the evening, I dropped by Mike's party at his new place!
He rents this house with three other housemates.
It was so huge, we were able to watch Alex and Jodene do some ballroom dancing!
They also had an ugly sweater contest.  LOL!

Big thanks to Mike, Tyson, Elsa, and Jamie for having us over!!!  :-)
It was almost 01:00 when I left the party, but I thought it was also the perfect time to drive down to Point Roberts and pick-up some parcels.  There's a new service in place of The Letter Carrier and it's called In Out Parcel.  Because of it's automated system, you can retrieve your parcel anytime you want!  Just punch in your PIN at the terminal...
and one of these locker doors will open-up with your package in it!  It's such an awesome idea!  Of course, there was no traffic at the time.  ;-)
I got a couple of MASH Bar Ends for STING.
Who loves "Interstellar"???

THIS GUY!!!

Thanks to the Megatron, I ordered the Carhartt Weathered Duck Detroit Jacket!  It's the same jacket  Matthew McConaughey wore in the movie.  Hehe...

It's a Snow Day!

Whoa!  My bonsai is all covered in snow!  :-)
These were the road conditions this morning.
After our little trip to Point Roberts,
Kelvin and I grabbed some lunch at Pho JAPOLO.  That's an Avocado Shake you see here!  :-)
This is what I brought back from the border, the LL Bean Weather Challenger 3-in-1 Jacket!  It's my Christmas gift to the MOMMIETRON.  ;-)
In the evening, it was time for me to lace-up my skates.  Look what was up for grabs!  LOL!
After a two week absence, it was good to be back on the ice.
Steve was our Player of the Game tonight.  He scored 4 goals which included a laser of a shot to the top-right corner!
Woohoo!  The good guys won this match by a score of 11-6.
Thank goodness I scored a goal in our last game of 2013.  :-)

Driving Miss MOMMIETRON

It was time to run some errands with the MOMMIETRON today,
so we rented a Volkswagen Passat from Enterprise.  I considered getting a minivan at first, but this car already had plenty of interior room!
Thanks to Shayna, I'll always know what side the gas tank is on.  ;-)
Mom finally got to see how I retrieve packages from Point Roberts.
She even took the little walk with me to the Letter Carrier.  By the way, they're open to receiving shipments again!
Now, it was time to do some shopping at IKEA,
but first some eats before we shove a bookshelf into our ride.  ;-)
And here it is, the last piece to the puzzle...
the Deda Superzero Seatpost!
I can now begin construction on my Histogram.  ;-)

UPDATE from The Letter Carrier!!!

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!!!

The Letter Carrier will only be accepting packages on a space available basis from December 3rd and on.  Their warehouse is totally packed from all the shopping this season!
Thank goodness they were still able to house my new Chrome Victor Messenger Sling Bag for pick-up.
I also brought back some Cinelli Mash Volee Handlebar Tape, and by Miche: two Cogs, a Cog Adapter, and a Lock Ring.
Lastly, two 3 TB Seagate External Hard Drives to backup my shit!  ;-)

Waffles, Histogram, and the '40s!!!

After my morning workout, I texted Sarah and we went out for some Belgian Waffles at Patisserie LEBEAU!
Oh wow, look at all that goodness!  :-)
Big thanks to Marife for the intel on this place!!!
Of course I had to get one of those Pumpkin Pies.
Lucky!  Sarah lives just blocks away from here.
Check out my ride for the day!  (Kidding.)
Here's my favourite cat,
Shirra!  :-)
We brought the food home because all the seats were taken at the cafe.  I'm planning a return trip already!
Anyways, here's what I was driving today.
The Dodge Avenger from a free double upgrade with Enterprise!
I was so tempted to drive over the border to pick-up my packages, but thank goodness I didn't because this was the line-up back into Canada!  It stretched down all the way to the coast!  I guess parcel retrievals and filling-up gas was on everyone's mind today.
The Letter Carrier was busy too!
"What's in the box?  What's in the fucken box?!?"
The Cinelli MASH Histogram, that's what!  City Grounds had a deal too good to pass up, so I pulled the trigger.  It's going to be my new project for the next few months.
Later in the evening, I attended Robyn's 40th birthday party!
She asked all her friends to dress-up in 1940s attire to celebrate the event.
Carly and I had fun with this one!

I think these two were in "13 Witches"!
Steve and his lovely wife...

I met Sam tonight and it just so happens he provided the voice for Athrun Zala from one of favourite anime series, "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED"!
"We Want You!"
Everyone had fun with this theme!

I can hear Anne's heartbeat!

Big thanks to Murray (right) for hosting the party!!!

Bring on the cake!

Blowing out the candles...
A speech of thanks...
A little live entertainment!

Tiffani sure looked swell.
Mike likes his martinis dirty.  ;-)
Tiffani baked all this for tonight!

More live entertainment!
Samantha on my phone...

"We need more leg!"
Happy Birthday Robyn!!!  :-)
