A Break from the Sun

I had to take a break from all the sunbathing today because I got burnt from my day at the pool!

However, I did go for a workout and after I was done, I ran into Jeff, our gaffer from "MECH-X4"!  :-)

Carolyn (Local Color) and I (Lucas Talent) brought-out our hats for today's shoot.

There were a lot of us for this one!

We enjoyed the sun and chilled in the shade.  ;-)

Taryn (Local Color) joined us too.

I normally don't like coming down to this beach on the weekend, but you know what?  It was the perfect time!  :-)

Gina's Birthday

Before heading over to the party, I dropped by the Monte Clark Gallery...

because I wanted to see the works of Greg Girard!  I was curious about his Vancouver photos taken from 1972 - 1982.  :-)

Once I arrived at Glenn and Gina's,

I spotted the pig roasting on the spit!

When the cake came out,

they enlisted the help from their daughter, Zoey...

to blow-out the candles.  Haha!

They had a big turn-out and tons of food!  :-)

When it got dark, we broke-out the chips.  I earned enough tonight for some lap dances at the No. 5!  ;-)

I got a chance to use my new AirPods during our breaks.  They're fucken awesome!  :-)

And when I wasn't using them, I stored them in their little charging case!

Jonathan Rogers Park got pretty packed during lunch.  I envied all the people playing with their dogs.  :-(

We shot inside Milano Coffee Roasters.  The Killer Mocha that gave me made me feel a little better.

This morning, I (Lucas Talent) got called-in last minute to replace a sick background performer.  I got to see some old friends who I haven't worked with in awhile like Brittany (Make-up)...

and Carmen (Make-up)!

I (Lucas Talent) loved the fact that Emily (Valley Extras) was here too!

And that's Ivette delivering a fish suit!  Haha!

Man, the last time I (Lucas Talent) worked at this studio was almost nine years ago when we shot "2012"!?!

First Beach Day of the Year

Still no work this week, so I took advantage of the time off and...

called Sara to see if she wanted to hang-out at the beach!  :-)

After all the sunbathing, we drove over to the new Storm Crow Alehouse.

Check it out!  They had the fastest ship in the galaxy hanging from their ceiling!  ;-)

It's pilot was encased in Carbonite while a Rancor kept watch.  ;-)

Sara tried on a new look.  Haha!

We love their spacious location!  :-)

Once we were done eating, I taught these two how to play a couple of board games.

I think Sara and Dave are hooked now.  LOL!  :-)

Victoria Day

Sushi Sunday

This afternoon I went over to The General Public for lunch with some friends!  :-)

When we were nearing the end of our meal, I spotted this little guy across the street waiting for his mommy!

I just had to go over and say, "hi!"  :-)

And then it was off to Landon and Angie's place to walk-off my lunch.  ;-)
