The Rude Awakening of Optimus Prime

You have to take a look at this video! It's an old Transformers episode that's been re-dubbed and re-edited by someone who goes by Dr. Smoov. It's totally hilarious, especially if you're a fan of the original television series.

A Sunny Ride to the Studio

It was my second day this week on this show and once again the weather was great!"Who's that wearing shades?!?!?" It's Duke!!! I saved the planet again by biking to work. (Photo taken by Duke) This time Tim was in charge of us. Here I am posing with Zoe. Now, with Amy... Sahar... Vincent...Victoria... Jody... "Rock on, baby!!!" And with Ryan, looking constipated... LOL!!! Production: Click the entry's title. Later in the evening, Christian called me and asked if I wanted to go watch "Transformers" again. I replied, "YES!" This is my third time to watch this movie and all in one week!!! I never noticed it before until Christian pointed out that Barricade, the Decepticon was a Saleen Ford Mustang. It was the only automobile that wasn't a GM product. This was because the film makers wanted to have the classic battle (literally) between the Camaro and the Mustang in a scene. Autobot Bumblebee transforms into a tough looking Camaro in this movie. Look what I saw hanging from the ceiling of the Riverport Silvercity. It's the Enterprise-A!!! This ship has always been my favourite out of all it's namesakes. "Ahead, one quarter impulse power..."

I Watched It Again!!!

Damn, I love this movie so much I watched it for the second time already! I have to admit it, I cried this time. There's parts in this movie that gets me so emotional. You grow up watching the cartoons and playing with the toys as kid, you just can't help but get teary eyed when you see your favourite heroes come to life on the big screen. And you know what? I'm going to watch it again. This movie is going to take a lot of money from my wallet and I don't care. It deserves to be seen over and over and over again. You have to watch it, if you haven't seen it already! After leaving the theatre, Willy and I went with Shellaine to New Town Bakery & Restaurant to pick up a bunch of their famous pork buns. Located at 158 East Pender Street in Vancouver's Chinatown, it's just one of our city's local secrets!

The Transformers

Holy Smokes!!! I just finished watching this movie with my friends. The flick is just crazy!!! A lot of the characters that we all know and love are back, looking drastically different from the cartoon versions, but if you think of it, they would have looked silly if they kept their 80's look. A huge product placement for General Motors, since they shelled out big dough to the film's producers to make all the Autobots into GM cars. It actually worked quite well. I swear I almost cried when Optimus Prime appeared for the first time. Hell, I still have the toy! Actor Shia LaBeouf is so damn lucky. The guy got to drive Bumblebee and have hot "bee-otch", Megan Fox ride shotgun with him. I totally envy the Canadian. What a dream come true for him. To say "The Transformers" is packed with action would be an understatement. The film is 144 minutes long, but I couldn't get enough of it. I just didn't want the thing to end. This is absolutely the movie of the summer!!! I can't wait to see it again. I felt the exact same way when I left a theatre watching the cartoon movie 20 years ago, I wanted to be a Transformer!!! Here's some photos of us before we watched the show. Thomas and Todd ate some burgers at Vera's Burger Shack. Check out Todd's shirt! Spending some time with The Simpsons... Whoa, the Silver Surfer!!! Todd Mason... And Thomas Bradshaw... Are in "Balls of Fury"... LOL!!!Giving Lisa Simpson a kiss good-night...
