Kitsilano PBOs

Thanks to a text from Fatty, I got a free milkshake from Fatburger! I basically ran from the gym and back to grab the giveaway held by the restaurant and Classic Rock 101. LOL! After my workout, I made my way over to Kitsilano Beach where I bumped into this PBO! Jessalyn was already here enjoying the sun and now she's enjoying my Thai Iced Tea. Ah yes, Kelvin and Aiden finally arrive! Aiden's so handsome. Nice view from here. More PBOs! Like I said, "Nice view from here!" ;-) Check it out. We got free milkshakes from Nimby Burger! They had promoters walking the beach, just giving them away. I think I got a few shades darker today. ;-)

Hiking Deep Cove

Look who I bumped into riding the Canada Line on my way to the gym. It's Jesslyn! After my spin class, I met-up with Fatty and Lila and we took a bus to Deep Cove. Our first stop at the cove, Honey Doughnuts & Goodies! We all bought one of their signature Honey Doughnuts! I never knew how popular it was here. They're good though! While walking through the park, we ran into some more friends! Jennifer, Troy, and Brando! LOL! Lila got some kisses from the babe hound. :-) We finally enter the Baden-Powell Trail. It was my first time doing this hike. It's more like a leisurely stroll through the woods. It's got great vantage points though! Awesome! Lila and Bono... Who knew we'd bump into him on our hike! LOL! "Whoa!!!"

This almost spelt the end of the EdRocker blog. :-) You can see Metrotown from here! We took a different way down... and repelled down a rope. Here I go! I'm a cliffhanger! "Favaron!!!" ;-) Hi Flex! I've been hitting the gym regularly, but more work needs to be done. ;-)

Power Hour Yoga

After a week's absence, Nick and I were back at Yaletown Yoga tonight.I was feeling a little sick last week, so that was my excuse. We attended Johnny's Power Hour Yoga Class. Let's just say that he kicked our asses tonight. LOL!!! Hey, look who dropped in to take a class with us, Jesslyn!

Section (3)

After my evening yoga class, I went down to Section (3) to visit Jess. "Nerd!"Misha met-up with me shortly after. C'est moi. The servers here fraternize with the customers. LOL!!! I ordered their Spinach Pizza and a box of their Yam Fries because I was so damn hungry after yoga. It totally hit the spot. Jess was kind enough to give us her 50% discount on the food, but ironically Misha and I tipped her enough that it would have covered the regular price. LOL!!! See! What did I tell you about the fraternizing? LOL!!! "Iced tea refill?" There was actually a fundraiser going on tonight. The manager and his band sang a few songs. Misha and I left after the last song. Thanks again, Jess!!!

Karaoke at Darby's Pub!!!

I met-up with Misha and the others to do a little singing tonight. Misha's been working out lately and these are the current results.Raging!!! Marife arrives to meet Chewy for the first time... We just walked across the street to Darby's Pub. Jesslyn showed up shortly after. Misha, Jesslyn, Marife, and me... Look who's here! "Hi Houston." We had a good spot, a couch right beside the stage. Sexy singers... "I touch myself" Our turn... "Bohemian Rhapsody" Someone coming to put in their order... Dancing Misha... Dancing Jesslyn... The real estate agent... Marife was asked to come on stage to sing along. Some more dancing... Mini Luke Perry... A shot of the crowd... "Hi Houston." Misha after he ran home to change his shirt because he was so sweaty. Actually, we were all sweaty from the dancing and singing we were doing. Air guitar... Stephen from England... Singing "You're Beautiful"... Singing "Ring of Fire" with the boys from Ottawa... In between singers, we would all get up on stage and dance. LOL!!! Ottawa in the house again... "I want it that way" Jesslyn giving her... See how sweaty I am? "Go! Go! Go!" My turn now... Trying to look like a character drawn by Joe Madureira... Singing "Afterglow"... Turns out it's one of Jesslyn's favourite songs, so she joined me. And it was good. More dancing on stage... Marife, Stephen, and me... "Sweet Dreams" The Ottawa Boys... Overwhelming the stage... Damn, tonight was fucken fun!!! "Karaoke Wednesdays" is awesome at Darby's. The host has a great selection of current and old songs, and... they're all English! One word of warning, he doesn't really have a system to organize all the song requests. I think he gets all confused by the bombardment of requests placed on top of his computer. You basically have to go up there and ask him to play your song right then and there. LOL!!! It's alright though, he's very nice and accomodating. I'd definitely come back to this night again, especially with the same crew of Marife, Misha, and Jesslyn. They have no fear of the onlooking crowd. It's so much fun singing and dancing on stage as opposed to singing in a private room, plus it's way cheaper. You just have to buy drinks. Hell, I only spent $6 for the whole evening!
