Ride & Sing

Rommel and I went for a bike ride along the seawall this afternoon. Sun was on and off today, but good enough for us to take a spin around town. We rode over to the Granville Island Public Market for something to eat. Rommel got Samosas... and I got a Crepe. Eventually, Rommel had to return his bike rental at the Seawall Adventure Centre. He paid $6.00/hour for the ride. In the evening, I met-up with Niki at Boston Pizza for you know what. Winny was working the Karaoke Monday tonight. Here she is bringing me my BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. She's hitting Hollywood in a couple of days! Break a leg, Winny!!! Eventually, Todd arrived. Basil... Niki ordered a Cheesecake! Louisa... Jody... Dean and Julia... Me with Basil... I'm off to Vegas tomorrow!!!

Roland's Stag

A bunch of us met-up at Bridges on Granville Island this afternoon to partake in Roland's stag! Big Jeff and the rest of the gang were ready to board the Island Jewel. Phil demonstrated his method to Rommel. Rommel, Phil, and Dennis with the man of the hour, Roland... The only two Flips onboard... Congratulations Roland!!! Hey, Dennis has the same camera as me! Ready to set sail. Phil and the Burrard Bridge... English Bay... Vanier Park... Dennis and Dorian... The West End residences... We had dinner onboard. Downtown Vancouver is so picturesque! Steve... Pendy... Group shots... Ashley was our bartender. "Just About Married" Heading back... Ashley serving-up the boys some drinks... Granville Island... The Granville Street Bridge... The Granville Island Public Market... Entering False Creek... Living on a houseboat pretty much guarantees you a waterfront view. That's the Erickson! The Erickson condo certainly has a unique shape and totally stands out from the rest of the nearby residences. The waterfront has become a city of glass. We returned to the dock to pick-up a special passenger. She placed this on a table. ;) Our boat ride eventually ended, so it was time to continue the party elsewhere. Rommel, Pendy, and I walked over the Granville Street Bridge towards... the Cecil while the others cabbed it. We got tired of the peelers or the lack there of, so we walked over to Hamburger Mary's Diner. I had a craving for another Butterscotch Shake, so I convinced the boys to go here. I also ordered a Kobe Beef Burger! The food here is just great! We eventually came full circle, back to Bridges to get Pendy's car. Gratitude to Jason for driving us home!!!
