Crepes for Lunch

Yasna is back!  Which means "Falling Skies" must be shooting again.  ;-)
Ivette planned a little lunch get-together at Cafe Crepe for us.
We spotted Michelle and Greg as they were doing a little shopping in the area.  :-)

Porchetta, Mochas, and Crepe

The Porchetta Sandwich from Meat & Bread...
In the evening, the Sanchez Brothers met me at JJ Bean!
I was told this old Lab, Annie has Cancer and doesn't have too long to live.  She reminds me of my Monroe.  :-(
Hilda loves the Mochas here too!  ;-)
After parting with the Calgary peeps, I met-up with Zulu and Lila at Canada Place.  Lila had to cradle our little baby because a woman accidentally stepped on his foot.  :-(
Gratitude to Birdie for buying me this French Toast Crepe from Cafe Crepe!!!  :-)

Andrew's in Town! (Day 1)

Thanks to Tina, I made $40 in 10 minutes taste-testing cola at the Consumer Research Centre this afternoon! Cherry blossoms were pretty down this street. I walked downtown and met-up with Andrew and Jessica for a moment before running Stanley Park. They're in town because Jessica is attending a spa conference this weekend. Todd and I had a good laugh at this sign when we arrived at the park. Todd and his package... We finished our run under an hour. It was all too easy for Todd though. He too is doing the Sun Run this year! Round 3 completed! It actually felt easier this time. Oh boy, we were going to have fun with this! "He who controls the Spice, controls the..." Todd is Atlas? Who's that hiding in a dark corner? In the evening, I met-up with Andrew and Jessica at Beyond. Jessica in the Transporter Room... Shortly after, Erin and Christian joined us here for dinner and to watch the Canucks lose in overtime. Christian ordered the Beef Short Rib. Erin had the Calamari. I ate their Striploin because I was craving a fucken steak! It also came with Scalloped Potatoes. The kids got a photo with the little inukshuk outside the hotel. Then we stopped by a Cafe Crepe for an after dinner snack. The Calgarians... A couple more shots on Granville Street... Staring at the Bay with Christian's pants around his ankles... The lighting of this building is great! Andrew decided to screw the T-1000 sculpture!

Skating, Eating, and Shopping

This afternoon, I met-up with Mike at Robson Square to do a little skating. Hey, that little kid on the left is wearing the right jersey. This is how I balance on the ice. Showcasing my new skates... Mike in front of the stage...
My turn now.
I snatched this photo from Mike. We didn't skate too long because the place was packed and they cleaned the ice while we were there. Shortly after, we drove over to Cyclone Taylor to look at some equipment. Mike eventually dropped me back downtown and I met-up with Popa Fatt. They wanted to skate, but the line-up for rentals was way too long! A photo shoot amongst the neon lights... Some girl yelled jokingly, "Don't hit her!" Awww... They're kissing now. Time for me to take on Fatty. We got something to eat at Cafe Crepe. While walking towards the theatre, we bumped into Edita's mom and her boyfriend! The movie we planned to watch was sold out, so we went grocery shopping instead. Here's Popa Fatt posing with the peppers at West Valley Market. The peppers almost look like plastic! Yellow! Fatty took a good shot, eh? This place has good prices on their groceries. We went over to the Popa Fatt residence after and Lila cooked us some dinner. Thanks you guys!!!
