The Big Day

Cool, a traffic cop in my neighbourhood!
While at the Steve Nash Sports Club, I noticed the new stationary cycles for our spin classes!  After Tedi's yoga class, I walked over to the UBCP to cash-in the two credits I received from "Falling Skies".
Yay, Rachael and Jude finally got some time to play!
He's walking a lot these days.
Time for art at Swiss Chalet.

"Wonder Twin powers, ACTIVATE!"
We were celebrating Rachael's belated birthday and my achievement of full membership in the UBCP!
"Must drink more milk."
As we continued our walk, we stopped by Ace Cycles.  Check it out, they've got a Penny-farthing at their storefront!
We said, "hello," to Brian...
and then tried-on bicycle seat covers as hats!
Woohoo!

Big thanks to Ace Cycles for the seat covers!!!

Last Payday of the Year

Got a bunch of railways here. Look who I bump into at the Gilmore Skytrain Station, it's Thomas! He always works hard making sure every pretty girl knows where they're going. ;-) While picking-up my cheques at ShowBiz Management, I met Lance's snake! As planned, Todd and I had lunch at Swiss Chalet after we got paid! We both ordered their Holiday Quarter Chicken Dinner. After the meal, I took the SeaBus over to Lonsdale Quay to meet-up with Holly. She requested the delivery of a dark package. ;-) I received some homemade cookies in return. Thank you, Holly!!! While we were here, I introduced her to Pavlova! I was totally craving some. We eventually parted ways, but I stuck around to make some magic with my camera. Downtown Vancouver as seen from North Vancouver... It's getting dark. A tugboat and the ports... Lonsdale Quay Market...
Back downtown, I walked by the Roundhouse. Whoa!!! They've got a big Christmas tree in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery!

MOMO All the Way

After picking-up some cheques from ShowBiz Mangement, Alesha and I went over to Swiss Chalet for a little snack. Well, mostly dessert. I like the Lemon Meringue Pie here. I had to do a little bit of work today. As you can see, MOMO was with us the whole time. Later in the afternoon, I passed by Bryan and Stacie's place. Awww, it's been awhile since I've seen this little guy. So, this is how Stacie watches television. Bryan picked-up some take-out from Anton's for dinner. So yummy! Big thanks to the Grahn's for dinner and my little video request!!! In the evening, I finally met-up with Angela for a little bike ride! Angela and the big bird... She did a little dance for me on the stage. :) The riders having a rest... Angela and the skyline... Hey, Angela looks good on MOMO!

Lunch and a Movie

After picking-up my first couple of cheques from ShowBiz Management, Alesha and I had lunch at Swiss Chalet. Oh boy, Lemon Meringue Pie for dessert! When we finished our meal, we went downtown and took photos of some buildings. Alesha in front of the Marine Building... Stepping into the revolving doors... The Art Deco of this structure is simply awesome! It's been used as a film location many times. As we walked along the seawall in Coal Harbour, we saw this heron!
We finally arrived at our final destination, Ceperley Park in Stanley Park. The West End Business Improvement Association hosted the last night of the summer for Dinner & a Movie. They played the original "Karate Kid"! It was so much fun watching it here. They should schedule more of these evenings.
