The Return of Maeva

Well, well, well...  Look who decided to come back!
After five years, Maeva decided to pay us a visit!  I met her for brunch at The Oakwood.
Looks like she's been spending time at the beach.  ;-)
It was actually her last day in our city...
because she had to leave for...
New York tonight!
We walked the Seawall at Vanier Park...
because she missed it so much.
I also took her to Spanish Banks...
and we lucked-out...
because the tide was out so far today!
We walked on a bunch of the sandbars and I just piggybacked Maeva over the streams.
It was the perfect time and place for a photo shoot!
I just wish we had Gus with us.
After I dropped-off Maeva, I walked over to Ace Cycles and finally bought one of their jerseys!  :-)
Time for solidarity at the UBCP meeting.  ;-)
I finished-off my day hangin' with my good boy.  :-)

Another Meet & Greet?!?

 Such a beautiful day,
but we had to be indoors for an industry meeting.  LOL!
 Alan and Colin...

It was good to see a bunch of familiar faces here!
 Michelle...
 The boys...
Laurie and her daughter, Calista...
Compliments of Laurie.  :-)
 I'm getting hungry now!
Colin and I decided to go to Milestones for lunch.
You can't go wrong with their Chicken Pesto Fettuccine!  ;-)
Thanks to a few extra parts and some helpful tips from the people at Ace Cycles, I was finally able to install the front brake on my new fixie!

Finally!

First my order with Ace Cycles eventually arrived, which I picked-up after I got wrapped from "Arrow" today.
And after a 3-game scoreless slump, I finally scored one tonight against Rodney!  :-)

A Day in Kits and the West End

I went to Kitsilano this afternoon with Fatty to retrieve his bike, but I got hungry, so we made a stop at the Parthenon Supermarket.
Their Roasted Chicken Dinner was great!
Plus, the view here wasn't bad either.  ;-)
Big thanks to Ace Cycles for rebuilding Fatty's fixie aka the Red Bull!!!
When we got back to the West End, we cut through the Dog Off-Leash Area in Nelson Park.  I just had to get my fix of doggies for the day.  ;-)
Lila with the fresh blossoms...
The flying fish at the YMCA...

Gratitude to Lila for inviting me to a free session of Yin Yoga here!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Who's that with the cute bum?!?
It's the A&W Great Root Bear!
After pilates with Julie, I met-up with the Popa Fatt and had lunch at Solly's with them.
I grabbed a Cupcake for dessert!
I can afford to eat this because I workout everyday.  ;-)
Time to go to Ace Cycles!
Here's George with Fatty's Aerospoke.  Uncle Vince was able to repair the little dent it had!

Thanks you guys!!!
We walked along the coast on the way back downtown.

This couple was teaching their new puppy to fetch.
In the evening, I went over to Rogers Arena to work a few hours with the KaiZen Creative Group.
RONA was our client tonight...
and we passed out their banners to all the ticket holders at the game.
Here's Peter doing a great job.
Hey, it's Bruce and his dad, Bernard!  He made good on his promise to pass by my gate.
I think I hear "Where the Streets Have No Name".  ;-)
Cara with the team of Gate 8...
Game on!
There's our banners!
All teams are in for the group shot.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
