Happy New Year!!!

So, I thought I was going to stay home tonight, but I guess not if Fatty could help it. He came by with Mike and Lila to pick me up at my place, so we could head out to Langley for a lobster fest. Jeff gave his phone to one of the lobsters. I guess it was so the lobster could make it's last phone call before going into the pot. Popa Fett by the Christmas tree... Popa Fatt... Am I seeing things? Oh my goodness, it's the Hammer!!! Nick Serious, Fatty, and the Hammer... Bryan and his brother, Dan... You've just been blogged, my friend. Sean, Brett, and Matt... Tamara and Jeff minding the stove... The finished product... Mike setting the dinner table... I guess if I stayed home... I would have missed all this. Matt about to dig in... Flex Fav in the house!!! Captain Serious!!! Let the dancing begin! Yeah, baby!!! The clock just struck midnight! I tried to swallow Lila here. Everyone in well-wishing mode... And in drink mode!!! Because we knew we wouldn't be allowed to leave house tonight, we decided to abscond through the back of the house. LOL!!! Here's a shot of sleeping beauty on the drive back. Provence Marinaside

I finally had my first Dine Out Vancouver experience tonight. Big thanks to my friend, Jocelyn for informing me about this program. A transplanted Winnipegger telling me what's going on in this city?!? LOL!!! Here's some photos from our night. Joy and Shellaine deciding what to order from the Dine Out menu... Nick, I've known this guy since Grade 3! "Happy Birthday Will!" He never even showed up. LOL!!! Photos of the various Antipasto we chose... Our Entrees... Joy ordered the Wild Sockeye Salmon. Everyone else had the AAA Alberta Beef Tenderloin with Wild Pacific Sea Prawns. I was quite surprised with the portions they served, because I expected something smaller. Look at the size of their Creme Brulee!!! Double Chocolate Kahlua Cake... Shellaine, her iPhone, and her cake... Raspberry Chocolate Pecan Torte... Cheese Cake... Joy was all smiles after our meal. Shellaine was full and so were the rest of us. Me... Nick and Fatty... Alex and Veronique... Group shots outside... Provence Marinaside is a great place for dining in the city. The $35 Dine Out Vancouver menu was truly a bargain for what we received, I was stuffed. It's an excellent location for delicious food and great service!!!
