The Search for...

Awww, the staff at the Steve Nash Sports Club were competing in a pumpkin carving contest today!
After working-out, I met-up with Rich to do a little shopping and eating at Big Bend Crossing.
When you're on the search for puss, it's a good idea to eat at a Cactus Club.  ;-)
Oh baby, Pumpkin Spice Sticky Toffee Pudding!
Later in the evening, I came across this car accident on my way to meeting Nick!
The accident took place at the intersection of Cambie & West 41st Avenue, right outside of Oakridge Centre.
Apparently, one of the cars was making a left-turn when it got hit.
This car hit a pedestrian when it veered into this street post!  More information on this accident can be found here: http://www.ctvbc.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20111029/bc_pedestrian_critical_111029/20111029/?hub=BritishColumbiaHome
Finally, Nick and I made it to Cafe Zucchero.
His friend, Mike is selling this place, so he decided to have a party tonight.
 Still on the search...
After the party, we beamed into...
Nick and I both ordered the Braised Beef from their Late-Night Menu.
It was my first time here!
I had this whole Dessert Platter all to myself!
Here's a better look at it.  I want to come back here to try their regular menu.

The search continues...  ;-)

A Day-off with Elizabeth

I met-up with Elizabeth this morning at this cool-looking building, the Flack Block.
She had to conduct an interview with Shark Truth founder, Claudia Li for her documentary project.  This was actually quite interesting because Claudia's non-profit organization is trying to raise awareness amongst us that the practice of shark finning is inhumane, damaging to the ocean ecosystem, and should be banned all together.  I totally support this cause, so I donated $25 CAD to them on their website: www.sharktruth.com.  I get a shirt too from my donation, like that yellow one Claudia's wearing!

HELP SAVE HARRY!  :-(
I just love this old elevator shaft!
They also have a great view of the Dominion Building from their office.

Victory Square and the BC Hydro Head Office...
The Sun Tower and the Edgett Building...
After we finished the interview, Elizabeth and I walked over to Meat & Bread for lunch!
 Elizabeth was buying, yay!!!
Seriously, look at that Roast Pork.  It usually runs out pretty fast too!
I guess because it gets pretty busy here during lunch.
There it is, the Porchetta Sandwich and a Victorian Lemonade!
For a treat, Elizabeth introduced to me, Cookies of Course.  They bake awesome cookies here!
We also went by Occupy Vancouver because Elizabeth hadn't seen it in person yet.

Gratitude to Elizabeth for lunch and dessert!!!

Then I went to JJ Bean to film Dan's project "Hidden Camera Jedis".

Thanks for the Mocha, Dan!!!
In the evening, I walked over to the Popa Fatt residence after my workout.  On the way, I snapped this shot of Robson Square.

Great job on your first Quiche, Lila!!!

Chicken Little (Day 5)

That's right, baby! A Lemon Meringue Pie for breakfast!
This is my (Showbiz Management) impression of Darth Vader observing the scene.
Maria (Double Agents) runs an online vintage clothing store! It's called Eclectica Vintage and here's the website address: http://www.etsy.com/shop/vintageeclectica.
Chris (In-Motion Talent) brought his Mahjong set today and taught Adiam (In-Motion Talent) how to play.
It's been awhile since I've played with tiles like these.
I (Showbiz Management) took advantage of the production value here and shot my own little project on our set, a la "Super 8". ;-)
