Weekend at Big White (Day 1)

Here's Jeff and I after just paying the toll booth at the Coquihalla. We were off to meet up with the rest of the boys and girls at Big White! We finally arrived at our lodging at about 2:30 am. Here's Josh, Jeff, Tamara, and Misha! Andrew! It was my first time meeting these girls (Jodi and Carly). When we went downstairs, a group of naked men, fresh from the hot tub were unleashed upon us! Look, it's Favron!!! This was the first of seen of him since he got back from Thailand. LOL!!! Here they are attacking Kitura. "Run Jeff, Run!!!" Fatty in the buff... Back upstairs now... The two Jeffs (Favron & Kitura) hugging... "Party on, Fatty!!!" Posing with Jodi... Another one of Jodi... And one of Carly...

The UPS Guy Again

Look Monty, I'm back on this show again as the "UPS Guy". I wasn't alone this time. Houston was doing some hand-doubling and Rebecca answered a day call to do hair. Here she is working on Crystal's hair in the morning. Hartley was called in to do some hand-doubling too. Houston, Hartley, and I were all working on the 2nd Unit today while the rest worked on the Main Unit. Production Assistant, Trina... Hartley filling out his permit... One of my favourite make-up artists, Ceilidh!!! The breakfast set-up... Ed the "UPS Guy"... Walking like an Egyptian... Hartley reading a comic book?!? Why am I not surprised? My hero, Doug... Doug and Martin doing a little Kung-Fu fighting... My hero with Mr. Magic Hands... Long time, no see, Steve! Linda eating a sandwich from crafties... Peter the Greek in the house! More and more people kept arriving in the afternoon. Linda was away from the industry for awhile, but she's back. Here she is posing with Michele. My boxer friend, Brad... He just loves Manny Pacquiao! Holding eventually got really full. Raymond and Brad shaking hands... "Hey, how you doing? Hey, hey..." I had to chase Jessica from Costumes for this one. Initially, I impressed her by getting her name right, but thanks to Houston she realized I used the call sheet to do it. LOL!!! She hates me now, due to my subterfuge. Oh well, you can't win them all. "You're wrapped Wendy." "And so are you, Crystal." Getting a shot with the marksman, Vincent... Kitty, the dog who hangs out in the make-up trailer... This is one of the reasons why we love working on this series. They have some of the best catering in town. Lunch time... I got wrapped shortly after my meal. I basically chilled in the tent for the last 4 hours, but at least they fed me and there were some good conversation. Production: Click the entry's title. Type of Call: 1 Background and 2 Photo Doubles (2nd Unit). Length of Call: 6 1/2 hours.

Supernatural

Spotted on Episode 12 of Season 3, titled "Jus in Bello". I had nothing to do last night, so I thought I'd watch the episode I worked on last year. Yup, there I go running around the police station all possessed by a demon. "Aaarrgh!!!" I get the energy from all the Coca-Cola I drink at crafties. Now, the demons within us are being exorcised thanks to the show's heroes, Sam and Dean.Exorcism finished...Turn the lights on. It's time to get up!This was actually 3 fun days of shooting, 2 in the studio and 1 on location. Lying down on the job, ain't life grand?

My Camera

My friend Boris, thought he'd be smart and ask me to post photos of my camera (which I use for my blog). No problemo, I just used the camera on my iPhone to take these shots. Here it is, the Sony Cybershot DSC-L1. I purchased it on July 25, 2005 from my friend Dan Bennett at The Sony Store in Pacific Centre. I paid $342.00 CAD for the 4.1 megapixel camera and $169.63 CAD for a 1 GB Memory Stick. I was one of the last amongst my friends to switch to digital camera. I still remember Boris laughing at me when I'd pull out my 35 mm instant on my trips to Calgary. Damn, I sure did waste a lot of film. I love this little guy. I've had no problems with it. It takes great shots, but it could use a brighter flash and a quicker auto-focus (You know..., for those hotties that walk around at the bar). LOL!!! Unless this thing dies on me, it'll probably be awhile before I upgrade. Prices in technology keep getting better and better these days, so I'll just wait.
