A Full Saturday

After a little shopping, I went by Popa Fatt's lair and had brunch at a nearby cafe. Here's Fatty paying for our food at Cafe de France. Team Popa Fatt... The Ed Rocker... Lila with all our sandwiches... They were really good here! After our meal, we left this place and walked over to Canada Place. Fatty in Canada Place calling the rest of the guys to meet somewhere. The designated spot, Lift... Jeff, Louise, Tamara, and Nicholas... They had a beautiful bar at this restaurant! There's no smoking allowed in this place. Using the flash sucks when it's foggy outside. Captain Serious in charge... Fatty puffin'... Back inside again... Fatty in control now... We just loved how the light shone through the alabaster counter. A tall drink of water... Our two babes... The booze... I really like this place. It right on the water and has a spectacular view of the marina. Dave was one of our cool bartenders for the evening. I actually had to leave early to attend another party tonight. I'm scared to find out how much our bill came up to. I quickly bussed over to Greg and Angie's place to celebrate their engagement. Simon, Todd, and Marie... Simon, Todd, Greg, and Dave in the back... This was also a housewarming party for the two. Time to take photos of the food... Maja and Jeff arrived shortly after. Todd has been absent from doing background, so he was able to grow a beard. Congratulations, Angie and Greg!!! Charles Darwin came to life this evening! Marie and Simon watching Greg's performance... Greg entertained us with an excerpt of his upcoming performance. Todd pirating with his phone... "There's not enough pirates these days." I was in awe. Brokeback Bearded Boys... After the party, Todd was hungry, so we stopped by Duffin's Donuts on the way home. Ironically, Todd actually makes deliveries here for work, but it was his first time to taste one of their popular sandwiches tonight.

Techie Time

Here we are this cold morning in the holding tent. It was good to see Adiam's (In-Motion Talent) face in the new year. It's been awhile since I've worked with Phil (Def-Con -5 Talent). He took this shot of me (Keystone Extras). Bill (Keystone Extras) with rosie cheeks... Jody (Showbiz Management) acting all cold, but it really was though. The suits, Martin and Mario... Robyn (Showbiz Management) and Travis... I thank Travis for recommending the new TV series, "True Blood". I'm so hooked on that show! Robyn took this shot of me (Keystone Extras) with my newly firmware update iPhone. I was using 1.0.2 until today! That's Sara's brother, Chris trying to get some rest. LOL!!! Robyn (Showbiz Management) helped Travis shape his eyebrows. See how much we get done at this job? Production: Click the entry's title. Type of Call: 34 Background. Length of Call: 6 3/4 hours.

Lunch Out at Joe's

After picking up a cheque at Keystone Extras, the MOMMIETRON and I walked over to Joe Fortes to take advantage of their Lunch Out Menu. Dine Out Vancouver started yesterday, but this restaurant also has a lunch special during this period. I laughed when the server brought us the steak knives. I commented that they looked like swords!Hadhafang in particular. We both chose the Steak and shared a skillet of Sweet Potato Fries. Yeah baby, I haven't even had breakfast yet! For dessert, I had the Creme Brulee... And the MOMMIETRON had the Vanilla Gelato. Check out their Dine Out Menu here: http://www.joefortes.ca/menus/menus.php?pageID=40Joe Fortes never fails to satisfy!
The impressive Shangri-La with today's fog...
When we returned home, I just had to take a shot of this dirty mound of snow. It reminded me of that Star Trek episode where Spock performed a mind-meld with the rock creature, Horta.

First Booking of the Year

Honestly, I was a little surprised when I got called for work this morning. I didn't expect to be working so early in the new year, but it was a welcomed surprise. Here's a shot of Paula (Keystone Extras) and I (Keystone Extras) all ready to work at the Daily Planet.
Nicole (Keystone Extras)!!!
"Peace," said Brett (Boss Management Inc.). I shared a table with Mandeep (Def-Con -5 Talent) and Bombyx (Def-Con -5 Talent). I forget to take a shot of my plate before I started digging in. That's Blair (Local Color) pretending to sleep. "That's acting." I met Troy (Keystone Extras) for the first time today! Here he is playing with his iPhone. Tim (Def-Con -5 Talent) and the Bomber (Def-Con -5 Talent) watching some movies on a laptop... Thanks to Tim, I was able to get a ride downtown. Production: Click the entry's title.
