I Saw the Sign (Day 2)

We were back at the studios again, but this time the weather had turned from sun into rain. :-( Last night, Suzanne spoke of playing Scrabble on set, so I borrowed the MOMMIETRON's travel version today. Caitlin got a shot of me (ShowBiz Management) taking my turn. Playing the game was a great way to spend our downtime! Big thanks to Suzanne (Local Color) for the idea!!! Actually, it's amazing how playing Scrabble with two attractive women can make you forget about all your past woes. I never thought it would be this quick, but I actually feel really good after getting dumped a couple of weeks ago! LOL! Look who dropped by from the set of "Endgame" to pay us a visit, Tim!!! Lunch time! While walking around the studio grounds, I (ShowBiz Management) ran into Jenn (DC-5)! Looks like she's sporting a new phone. ;-) Crystal's been our wrangler for the past couple of days. There goes Tim in for a smooch! LOL! Later in the evening, production hired a pizza maker. They had their own brick oven on wheels! Production: Click the entry's title. Type of Call: 18 Background. Length of Call: 10 1/2 hours. If you're gonna drink, take the bus. LOL!

I Saw the Sign (Day 1)

The path towards the studios was looking extra pretty this morning! I love the colour of the leaves at this time of the year. "May I please have some pancakes, Dave?" Shane (ShowBiz Management) eyeing my stack... Dean (ShowBiz Management), Matilda (Urban Casting), me (ShowBiz Management), and Shane (ShowBiz Management)... I usually have fun at work, but today, I had a great time! "What's going on outside our tent?" Looks like Matilda (Urban Casting) met some new friends! A lot of the crew bring their doggies to set, so awesome! Dave cooked us some Steak!!! Production: Click the entry's title. Type of Call: 38 Background. Length of Call: 12 1/4 hours.

Wardrobe Sales!

Thanks to some intel from Marie, Kelvin and I checked out the "Marley & Me: The Puppy Years" wardrobe sale this morning. Their collection was pretty modest. This dog, Hunter tried on a new collar. Looking sharp! Todd was shopping too! There are 3 more sales this week, if you're interested!
"Two for the Road" wardrobe/set dec/props sale tomorrow from 10:00 - 17:00 at Vancouver Film Studios, Upper Building K, CASH ONLY!
"Psych" wardrobe sale tomorrow from approximately 11:00 - 16:00 at North Shore Studios, CASH ONLY!
"Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules" wardrobe sale tomorrow and Friday from approximately 11:00 - 16:00 at North Shore Studios, CASH ONLY! As Kelvin and I were driving towards the Drive we saw this massive green screen set outside on 1st Avenue & Boundary Road! We didn't know what production it was, but we could tell it was some kind of broken bridge scene they were filming. The autumn leaves are always so photogenic! We went to Havana for brunch. Look at the size of the French Toast I ordered! It was absolutely delicious. Now, that's one hot mama waiting for a bus! This is why I love taking transit so much. ;-) Looks like PBOs are back on the blog again!

Uganda Rising

I bussed over to UBC to watch tonight's screening. Amber and Andrea held the fundraising event at the Norm Theatre inside the Student Union Building. Mark, Matilda, Adrian, and I in our seats... After the movie, Andrea got-up to thank the audience for attending. The movie was definitely an eye-opener, but be warned, it does contain shocking stories and disturbing images of the atrocities being committed in Northern Uganda. The film definitely puts our current lives in North America into perspective. Yay, I got a shirt for my donation! Visit 'GuluWalk.com' to see how you can help.

On Location at UBC

A bunch of us were out working in UBC on this rainy day. That's me (ShowBiz Management) with MOMO! She got booked for work again. It was good to see Glenn (Local Color) because it's been awhile since we've worked together! Uh oh, there's Thai (DC-5)! Oh shit, I think he's (DC-5) calling for some back-up! The back-up, Anthony (DC-5) and... Everton (DC-5)! Randy (DC-5) was another face I haven't seen for some time! An establishing shot of our holding... Lunch was good! I (ShowBiz Management) was a booked as a 'courier' again. :-) The tools of my trade... There's a brightside to being dumped. I'm (ShowBiz Management) back to meeting pretty girls again, like Maija (Urban Casting)! We were here so long, the sun was starting to set. Getting lower... And soon... the darkness. There are some pretty sights at this campus! Production: Click the entry's title. Type of Call: 43 Background. Length of Call: 10 3/4 hours.
