Snow Buddies

I worked on this film earlier today out in Fort Langley. I think it's another installment of the "Air Bud" series of movies and it looks like it's going straight to DVD. The project was a victim of a few mishaps today. First of all they gave our background agents the wrong directions for the day, so all of us were pretty much late this morning. Secondly, the production found out that a couple of their dogs were infected with some kind of virus, so now they have to shut down for a few weeks to try to wait for it to pass. They don't want to take a chance of getting the rest of the dogs sick, since they're the stars of the show. Thirdly, the rain kept persisting the whole day, so we couldn't even film any exterior shots. We just hung out in holding the whole time, which was okay by us. It basically gave all of us a chance to catch a few Zs and when the dogs weren't acting, we got to play with them. There was a humongous Saint Bernard named Woofer and two beautiful Golden Retrievers, Nugget and Sage. I just loved them all, they were so cute and friendly!!!

The 4400

Earlier this morning I get up at 7:59 am for no apparent reason, and just when I was about to lay down again, I get a call from my background agent, Krista. Someone didn't show up for work, so launch EdRocker on Alert Five as a replacement. Yahoo, I got to chill with Rachael at the University of British Columbia's Chan Centre, "Happy days are here again..." Hey look, it's Arricc playing a riot policeman, let's get the fuck outta here! Anyways, aside from the weather being cold and rainy, it was a good day of work.

Tin Man

Earlier today I went to a go-see for this new mini-series. It's basically a sci-fi version of "The Wizard of Oz". Production is set to begin March 28 to June 26. Here's Sara hard at work. She's the assistant to Extras Casting Director, Kit Hayward. Hey look, another familiar face, Vladimir!

Chillin' at Kathy's condo...

Shyne was still house-sitting Kathy's condo, so Aleasha and I joined her for a dip in it's swimming pool on Sunday. It's all good clean fun until someone enters the pool with a pair of goggles. Anyways, what the hell is up with this other tenant? This particular bobo makes a habit of leaving his or her plunger outside of the door! WTF?!?

Cards with the 'Tards II

It was our monthly poker night on Saturday. This time, we all played at Hugh's new place, but his customized table still wasn't ready. We used his parents' old mah-jongg table instead. I only won a split pot in one tournie with Bruce, but the big winner was Brian. He won two tournaments! During one of the games, we caught a very distracting music video on the television. It was titled, "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" by Fedde Le Grand. Take a look for yourself and see what you think.

Cool new cell phone...

It's the new Prada Phone by LG Electronics Inc. Following in the wake of Apple's iPhone, it's another touch-screen enabled device. I must admit, it looks really good. I just can't wait to see what other manufacturers are going to put out, especially Motorola.

I want this...

This was brought to my attention by my friend, Boris in Calgary. It's a Star Wars speaker system by Nikko Home Electronics. It is my destiny to have it.
