Take Me Out to the Ball Game (Day 2)

A Breakfast Burrito is a good way to start the day! I (Showbiz Management) was back with Rachel (InspirationAll) at Nat Bailey Stadium for our second day working on this TV series. Oh man, the Chicken Breasts are a grillin'! Most of us actually got wrapped earlier than expected, but production still fed us lunch. :-)

Take Me Out to the Ball Game (Day 1)

Breakfast with Ken (In-Motion)... I (Showbiz Management) finally got booked for work after 2 weeks of nothing! Our shooting location was quite pleasant too. I (Showbiz Management) thought I recognized this guy. It's Panos, an old classmate of mine from Mark Brandon's class! He booked an acting role on this episode! JC was also acting in this episode! Chad was hired as a technical consultant because he actually plays baseball. And Randy (Showbiz Management) was doing background with the rest of us. I (Showbiz Management) grabbed a shot on the mound. "This is how you do it," said Chad. We all had a great lunch today! The weather turned-out to be really nice! I met Rachel (InspirationAll) for the first time today! Julian (Local Color) and I (Showbiz Management) shared a few laughs while we worked. Rachel (InspirationAll) and I (Showbiz Management) both love the sun. They actually served us Hot Dogs near the end of our day! Yeah, that's right! Holy shit! Look at the line-up sign-out! We'll all be back at the Nat Bailey Stadium tomorrow! Michele (Urban Casting) and I rode the same Skytrain outta here.

The '94 Vancouver Canucks

I found out my favourite hockey team, the 1994 Vancouver Canucks were going to be signing autographs at the River Rock Casino this afternoon, so I made my way down! It was quite the turnout! I guess people still haven't forgotten the efforts that this team put out 17 years ago. :-) I, of course will never forget. This particular team will always have my heart. :-) I must have waited almost 2 hours in this line-up! The Lissner Twins were here too with their aunt! Finally, some autographs! I had Jeff Brown sign my stick first. Then the popular enforcer, Gino Odjick... And the tough defenceman, Gerald Diduck... We were all expecting to get Kirk McLean's autograph, but I guess he got tired and left. :-( I was actually hoping there would be more players from the team, but only three of them were at the table. "Oh wait, there's Martin Gelinas!" Gino getting interviewed by Jason Pires of CTV British Columbia... It was starting to get crazy down there! I was able to make my way back into the signing area to get Gelinas' signature! ;-) This guy's work ethic was so integral in our '94 run for the cup. He also helped the Carolina Hurricanes get to the Finals in 2002 and played another major role with the Calgary Flames in their campaign of 2004! 'The Eliminator' signs my pink stick... "Ah fuck, there's Kirk McLean!" Sucks, I couldn't get him to sign though. :-( This is weird, McLean and Brown in close proximity?!?
Damn, I really miss this team.

"13 Witches" First Rehearsal

It was our first rehearsal today for Sabine's new web series! Steve and Sabine have invested a lot of time and money into this project and we're all really excited to be working on it! Lolly's the 'Narrator' and I play 'Anubis'. It all seems to be coming along really well! Check out these links:
After the rehearsal, I met-up with Fatty and we walked over to Bean Around the World on Davie. Big thanks to Fatty for cooking me some Perogies tonight!!! Since Lila's away, Fatty can use as much ketchup as he wants. LOL!

Oakridge Tailors

Some of the clothing I bought yesterday required a few alterations, so I brought them over to Oakridge Tailors this morning. They're my favourite to go to and the couple who own it, Will and Joy are very nice to deal with. The rates are really good too!

Here's the other reason I love coming here, Coco! He's one of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet. Coco actually went missing a few days ago because he got frightened by a larger dog in the neighbourhood and ran away. Everyone that knew him was so worried and tried to help in the search. Thank goodness the BC SPCA found him and returned him to his loving parents! :-)

"CHAOS" Set Sale

The only thing good about a show that we work on being cancelled is the set sale afterwards. Holy smokes, look how tall Colin is compared to the MOMMIETRON! Not only did they sell wardrobe, but they got rid of set-decorations and props too! The MOMMIETRON always gets excited when I take her to these events. LOL! We all get excited when we see that the clothing we bought still has the original sales tag, which means it hasn't been used! We came away with a lot of stuff, but I'm most proud of this acquisition!
