2013 Sun Run

It was race day for the Vancouver 2013 Sun Run this morning!  

Boris and I walked over to the Steve Nash Sports Club for an after-run stretch and shower.  At this particular moment, I was a little disappointed and unsure of my performance,

but then a few hours after, Todd texted me the good news.  I finally attained my goal of recording a time below 45 minutes in this 10k!  44:34 baby!!!  

Fuck yeah!!!  :-)

Huh, I guess these shoes really do work.  LOL!  Honestly though, it was the most comfortable run I've had in years.

Eventually, Boris and I met-up with Hilda and the kids and we drove over to White Spot for lunch.

This restaurant is very kid friendly.  ;-)

Oh by the way, Boris' time was 52:02, his personal best in a 10k!

We finished-off our day with a pit stop at JJ Bean.  ;-)

First, I made a trip down to Point Roberts to retrieve my Kayano 18s by Asics.  I plan to use these runners in tomorrow's Sun Run.  ;-)

In the evening, a bunch of us went over to Barry's to celebrate his birthday with a barbecue!

Yay, Shayna's back from her internship in Calgary!

After my workout, we walked over to Cafe Medina.

It just so happened that Jodi and her friends were sitting right beside us!  (Another Calgary connection.)  

The Waffles are good here!  I had three.  ;-)

After my lunch, I (Showbiz Management) caught a bit of shut-eye at the Popa Fatt residence before going to work.  ;-)

This drum stool finally went on sale at London Drugs!  After the MOMMIETRON and I first set eyes on this thing months ago, I would constantly check-up on the store to see if they'd drop the price.  It was listed at $79.99, but this week it was slashed by 50%!  I bought two.  ;-)

Also happening this week is the grand opening of the JJ Bean location at 4287 Fraser Street!

This means there's a bunch of deals going on at this store.

The MOMMIETRON and I had to take advantage of this.  ;-)

This place is cute.

I loaded the gift card that I got from Shayna and Justine with another $100.

This way I get an extra $30 credit from JJ Bean because of their opening week!  ;-)

Stretch, Eat, and Action

After yoga with Sarah and Hollis, we hooked-up with the rest for brunch at the Oakwood Canadian Bistro.

Their Dungeness Crab Benedict is really good!  Things sure have changed from the days when this place was Tatlows.  I think for the better.  ;-)

After all the eats, it was time for an Audition Workout with...

Marie and Todd!  It was a great way to polish-up are acting skills.  I can't wait for the next one!
