Friday at the PNE

Angela and I went down to the PNE this afternoon. We were able to catch the tail-end of the Superdogs Show! Just in time for the meet & greet with the dogs! Very cute! I guess there's a bigger dog than me. "That's my name, don't wear it out." Angela and the big dog... We made sure to stop by Melanie's Buttertarts Divine stand. It was inside the venue, so after the show, we picked-up 3 buttertarts from her! Uh oh... Angela's being naughty again. ;-) Angela bought a crepe from Sarah's stand! We met-up with Linda, Delia, and Mel. Now, that's a big sandcastle. "Get in there, babe." Mel in the cockpit... Ang and I re-enacted a scene from "Top Gun". Then we tried the bungee race! "Get it, Ang!" Mel and Linda did it too!Angela and I also got a chance to meet Erin Cebula at the Global BC tent! She was really nice too. Our main objective of the day was to watch the Cyndi Lauper concert! Because it was so packed, Delia and Mel had to stare at this for an hour as we waited for the show to begin. Lisa and Mike joined us too. We just sat in one of the walkways. See? Packed! "Go, Baby! Go!" Angela and Mel... The Wonder Women... On with the show! Cyndi mostly sang tracks from her album, "Memphis Blues". And then the talented artist finished-off her performance with classics like "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and "True Colors"! After the concert, it was time to check out the livestock. Everyone loved the haircut of this Alpaca! So cute! Llama... Bunnies for Elizabeth... And then we saw the big pig with her piglets! They always draw a large crowd. Now, these guys were huge! This one was staring at us. Near the end of our night, we ran into Angela and Stacey. They're going to Squamish this weekend too!
