Games Night at Rachael & Shannon's!
To celebrate Rachael's 2nd year in our country, Shannon invited us over to play some boardgames! First we played Pandemic and ended our night with The Resistance (one of my favourites). These games totally kick ass on The Game of Life. LOL!
Big thanks to Rachael and Shannon for having us over and to Greg and Angie for bringing over my favourite game!!! :-)

Crepes for Lunch
Yasna is back! Which means "Falling Skies" must be shooting again. ;-)
Ivette planned a little lunch get-together at Cafe Crepe for us.
We spotted Michelle and Greg as they were doing a little shopping in the area. :-)
The boys, the boys!!! LOL!

Beans & Steel
After a little Salsa and Agave, Kelvin and I checked-out the new JJ Bean location in the Olympic Village!
Their Grand Opening Promo Week is going on now,
so I just had to take advantage of it!
They've got a pretty venue here.
It's been awhile since I've had one of their Mochas, but I guess I'll have more to come since I just reloaded my card. ;-)
Later in the day, I went down to Cyclone Taylor Sports and purchased their Season Sharpening Pass for $67.19 CAD. Now, I've got unlimited sharpenings until the end of March next year!

Can you see Adiam?
She's stopped doing Background and is now working as a Production Assistant!
Good for you girl!!! :-)
After we got wrapped,
I took a few photos of False Creek.
Production: Click here.
Length of Call: 11 5/10 Hours.

Dogs & Skates
Ahhh yeah, just finished taking Yoga and Spin today!
On the way home, I dropped by Revolucion where I met Rosie...
Cookie,
and Tzar!
This was the first time I've ever met a Borzoi aka Russian Wolfhound!
Tzar belonged to Katie...
and the other two were clients of hers.
She runs a dog walking business!
Tzar is one big pooch!
He was kind of like a small horse. :-)
Big thanks to Paul for the selling me a Tumi wallet!!!
In the evening, I played my first hockey game of the season!
For the rest of the guys, it was their second.
No rust on this skate, just some dust. ;-)

Bobo's Belated Birthday!
Since I was away in Calgary last weekend, I totally missed Rich's birthday dinner. We decided to make-up for it tonight at Havana!
I just love their Paella!
It's delicious. :-)
Their Flourless Chocolate Cake is really good too!
When Glen and George finally joined us, we moved our party to the Charlatan. Let's take another one to see if Glen will smile this time. ;-)
Nope, still no smile. LOL!
Happy Birthday Rich!!! :-)

The Following Day in Calgary...
This afternoon, Ian and Patti took me out for something to eat. Our first stop: Central Blends Cafe.
And finally, Jimmy's A&A Mediterranean Deli!!!
I've waited a long time for this.
This place just keeps getting bigger and better every time I visit.
They serve the best Chicken Shawarmas I've ever tasted right here!
Jimmy's hired more staff too.
Shawarmas in creation.
No one and nothing shall come between me and Jimmy's Chicken Shawarma! They've got 2 locations in Calgary now. ;-)
For dessert, we dropped by Jelly Modern Doughnuts.
I had a Maple Bacon Doughnut.
Good stuff!
Walking through Calgary's business district, I admired the University of Calgary's downtown campus. The building's exterior resembled furniture upholstery! LOL!
Introducing the Bow, Calgary's tallest skyscraper!
It's shaped like a bow and lies close to the Bow River.
Whoa, there's a big head in the front!
The view from inside the head.
Go directly to jail. Do not pass GO!
The Third-Eye shines.
The head's a little shiny.
The artist responsible.
Please do not climb.
It's eye is twinkling.
Uh, your nose is a little shiny.
The security guard offered to photograph us, but he cut-off the big head. LOL!
Cranial Eclipse.
My head's corona.
Back on 17th, Ian spotted a Porsche Carrera GT!
This car has always been one of my favourites!
Love its behind. ;-)
From drinks at Melrose...
to Steaks at Ian's.
On our way to the airport, I finally met Emerson!
This is Alma and Fred's daughter!
Fred and Alma made a pit stop at YYC on their way home to Edmonton.
This little kid is cute,
but she's starting to cry,
so it's time to give her back to her parents. Plus, it's time to jet back to Vancouver! ;-)
Big thanks to Ian and Fred for my travel and accommodations!!! :-)
