Since I had a later call time today, I was able to meet Mandi and friends for sushi at The General Public this afternoon.  She's going on vacation to Thailand soon!

Bon voyage, Mandi!!!  :-)
At work, we were all in black for today's night shoot.
Madeleine (Lucas Talent) had another thing in mind.  LOL!

Sushi Sunday

This afternoon I went over to The General Public for lunch with some friends!  :-)
When we were nearing the end of our meal, I spotted this little guy across the street waiting for his mommy!
I just had to go over and say, "hi!"  :-)
And then it was off to Landon and Angie's place to walk-off my lunch.  ;-)

Sunday Dog Walk

I was in need of a dog fix, so I called-up Angie for a walk with Landon!
I haven't seen them in awhile.
Angie sure has a big dog in Landon!  :-)
Such a wonderful day for a walk too.
Dinner time at The General Public!  :-)

Sushi Sunday

Mandi organized another get-together at The General Public, so a bunch of us went down for some lunch.  :-)

Hangin' with Angie and Sara

Oh look, I spotted Drea in today's Vancouver Sun!
I took Angie to Welk's this afternoon.
I got a little distracted by her curves.  Haha!
She wisely chose a S'well Bottle.   :-)
Later, we walked over to The General Public...
for some drinks...
and sushi!
Awww, Gus was checking-up on us!  :-)
Gratitude Angie for lunch!!!  :-)
Gus and I later drove to Spanish Banks...
to meet...
Dave and Sara!
We spotted this classic Ford as we walked along the coast!
Once Gus and I got home, I had him try his new PFD!
I bought it online from Backcountry for $79.95 USD.  It's the K-9 Float Coat by Ruffwear.
I also got this hard drive enclosure for $17.34 CAD from NCIX.  My old MacBook Pro finally died, so I removed its hard drive and transferred its files to my iMac.  Simply Computing tried to sell me something similar for over $100 CAD!  LOL!  ;-)
Yeah baby!  I got another pair of Tigers!!!  :-)

Sushi, Toys, and Games!

After my little swim, I drove over to the General Public to meet Jude and his mom!
"Now how are we all going to fit in that?" asked Han.
Mandi eventually joined us (the organizer of this lunch date).
Here come the sushi!  :-)
And to top it all off...  Deep-fried Mars Bars!

Thanks for the invite Mandi!!!  :-)
Once we were done eating, we walked over to The Granville Island Toy Company.  I couldn't believe my eyes when Rachael pointed-out this toy to me!?!  The banker even has a smile on his face as he hands the money over to the robber.  LOL!
Now, this one's for Colin and those guys.  Hehe...  ;-)
In the evening, I went down to Rory's place to play some board games!
We played Tales of the Arabian Nights for the first time...
and then we ended our night with a game of Carcassonne!  :-)

Gratitude to Rory and Rhiannon for hosting!!!

Sushi Back-up

After attending our co-worker's celebration of life, a few of us went out for some sushi.  The original plan was to hit Toshi, but the line-up was too long, so we went to The General Public instead.  :-)

A Second Day with Gus

Poor Gus...  It was a wet one today,
but eventually the rain stopped...
and I took him to Memorial South Park.
Lest we forget.
On the walk back, we took some time to admire the cute laneway houses under construction in the neighbourhood.
I could totally live in one of these!
In the evening, Gus and I rendezvoused with the Megatron...
at The General Public.  After dinner, his momma took him home.  :-|

Cruzers in Town!

I drove down to the Newton Athletic Park this afternoon...
to meet Mia and Gus!
The Deumas joined us shortly after I arrived!
Monet (Gus and Mia's daughter) and her team travelled from Calgary to participate in this weekend tournament.
There's our girl to watch, Number 6!
"Go Monet, go!!!"
Apparently, the team in blue was from Washington State.
Their girls were big!
I wonder if their drinking water has steroids down there.  Hehe...

Sadly, Monet's team lost today,
but regardless, we were all very proud of her!
Have a safe trip home you guys!!!  :-)
Later in the evening, I met-up with Trisha and Camille.
We had to plan out Trisha and Leo's wedding reception for this coming Friday.  I'm going to be their Master of Ceremonies!  :-)
