TCAOS (Day 123)

Kunal (TAD) and the girls were all bundled-up this morning...
in preparation of a cold exterior shoot.
Let's discuss...
and discuss some more...
while I (Lucas Talent) run around...
like an Ewok!  Haha!
Josh (Special Effects) manned the atmospheric smoke.
My tools of the trade have served me (Lucas Talent) well,
enough so that I (Lucas Talent) could fall asleep in this cold forrest!  ;-)

Production: Click here.
Type of Call: Stand-in.
Length of Call: 13.3 Hours.

The Rain Won't Deter Us.

Look who I bumped into at the grand opening of the Canada Goose Flagship Store in Pacific Centre!  It's Alex, our former Lamp Operator!
After running a few errands, I finally scooped-up Donna...
and took her to the Beaty Biodiversity Museum...
at UBC, as promised.  We were all supposed to go months ago when our script supervisor, Sabrina was still in town, but then all their days got busy.
When Donna got back, she asked if we could still go, so I said, "For sure!"  ;-)
I took her to The Teahouse in Stanley Park afterwards for some snacks.  She said it reminded her of her hometown, Boston.  :-)

On a Mission

Since I knew I would be off today,
I picked-up June last night after work...
and she slept over!  :-)
Smayre and Elmer just love her!  Haha!
This is one of the main reasons I requested the day-off, so I could shop for a wig.  Brendan, our Director of Photography suggested I get one, so he could have me on set more often.  ;-)
After buying some hair, it was time to eat!  :-)
Once I picked-up some cheques, June and the MOMMIETRON waited for me to do some banking.
We dropped-off Mom at church and then June and I went over to Lonsdale for some ice cream...
and culture!  ;-)
June's my little model and princess.  :-)
The only problem I have with a day-off is that I tend to do a lot of shopping.  ;-)

Granville Island with Their Highnesses

This little princess really enjoys the attention.  Haha!
Little Red Riding Hood and a cute wolf waited for me outside of the bakery on Granville Island.  ;-)
Ohhh... it's my June Erso!  ;-)
The MOMMIETRON sported her new coat today on our walk.
Glowing with the Force.  ;-)
Today was basically a photo shoot of these girls.
Hehe...
Two cuties!!  :-)
Mom looks pretty sharp in red.
June is so good at posing!
Mom's not bad either.
Recon!
 We just followed her lead.
"Ketchup!"
June admired the water...
and then we brought her to one of Gus' favourite spots.  ;-)
On our way home, we stopped by Oakridge Centre where I bumped into one of my old high school teachers, Mr. Fukui!  :-)
Sadly, I had to bring my little girl back home tonight.  :-(

Full-Time Work (Season 2: Day 61)

Bring in Maya (Lucas Talent) as our replacement stand-in for Wanda!
Brandon (A Camera Second Assistant) wore my new Shadow Trooper Helmet,
so he could slate with it.  Haha!
Sacha (Boom Operator) wore it.
Gabe (Sound Assistant) wore it.
Andrew (Lamp Operator) wore it.
Between the passing around of my helmet, I introduced Maya (Lucas Talent) to Barbara!
Barbara's grown a bit, but she's still pretty damn cute!  :-)
Thanks to Trevor, I've (Lucas Talent) begun solving the Rubik's Cube.  :-)
Back to my helmet now, but this time on Maya's (Lucas Talent) head,
Natalya's (Costume Set Supervisor) head,
Mara's (Props Truck Supervisor) head,
and eventually on my head!
Just in time to pilot my new TIE Fighter...
and take Maya (Lucas Talent) for a spin!
The all-systems check...
was A-okay!
All angles were great because...
Glen (A Camera Operator) always gets the job done right.  ;-)
Ohhh, who do we have here?!?

Production: Confidential.
Type of Call: Stand-in.
Length of Call: 11.3 Hours.
