A Beautiful Day-Off!

I tried bringing the furry guy to the groomers, but they were all booked for the day!

I decided to call-up Stellina and see what she was up to.  She finally met Gus after all the conversations I had about him while we were on set.  :-)

It only seems fitting.  ;-)

I eventually had to give Gus back to his momma.  :-(

We had a beautiful sunset today!  :-)

Betty and Brett had an engagement party at Calabash this evening,

so a bunch of us went down to kick it old school!  :-)

Running Fashion

I called-up Steph this afternoon, so I could break-in my new shoes.

Happy Birthday Shellaine!!!

It was dinner at Cobre tonight to celebrate Shellaine's birthday! We had a whole room to ourselves here. "This is the birthday girl!" Char grilled Pemberton Meadows flat iron steak Tijuana baby ceasar y chorizo buttermilk mashed papas... Ron and I are brothers from other mothers. ;-) Since it was my first time here, I walked around for a bit and took photos. It's nice here! The top level... And the bar... Here comes the cake! "Blow it out, Shellaine!" Filipino Gothic... Shellaine and her sisters... Oli and Mon... More photos around the room... So many legs! They've got legs and they know how to use them! ;-) The birthday girl with all the boys... Happy Birthday Shellaine!!! We eventually left Cobre and walked over to Calabash. Sorrelade and Banofee Pie... Shellaine and the others went downstairs to dance, but they were charging cover, so I took-off to meet Lisa and Niki at the Caya Davie Street Dance Party. A lot of singing... and dancing here tonight! We all walked down to... Checkers for karaoke! Yum! "Dance baby, dance!" Mark was here too and he let us come up with him to sing! Posing with the Mountie... Awww, this little girl reminded me of Monroe. She kept crying for her owner to come back. :-(

Happy Birthday Chera!!!

This evening, I bussed over to the Calabash Bistro located in Vancouver's Chinatown district. We all came to celebrate Chera's birthday tonight! Mandy and Justin... A big smooch from Jeff... My girlie drink... LOL! Hey, there's Matt celebrating Nathalie's PhD! Kenji and Brenda... Turns out, Kenji and I both ride fixed! Sadly, the running mates won't be together for this year's Sun Run. :-( Chera will be in Uganda by then. :-) Shayna, Melanie, and Justine have arrived! "Once again, the specials are..." LOL! Natalie in control... LOL! I got the Fry Fish and it was spicy. It actually made me sweat! "I don't always drink beer, but when I do..." This is what interesting men drink. ;-) Cutie pie, Justine hates having herself photographed. LOL! Ben and Voula posing with Chera while Kenji photo bombs! The girls of Douglas College... The restaurant made a special dessert for the birthday girl! It wasn't on the menu, so we couldn't order one for ourselves. :-( At least, Chera let us try it. :-) The loving classmates... Voula knows how to stay married. LOL! I ordered these Brie & Guava Stuffed Dumplings. Chera with late arrival, Erin! Natalie noticed this image. Voula said, "I'll take that." People were dancing while waiting in line to settle-up their bill. Brenda and Kenji liked this little statue! After our meal, we went downstairs for some dancing! Check it out! They still have the building's old elevator here! Chera loves to dance! And so do I! This place is so cool! "Are you ready to rock?!?" I asked, "Are you ready to ROCK?!?" Natalie and Nelson...
