Working the Canucks Game

On the way to work today, I ran into Bobbi-Rae! Check out the replica Stanley Cup riding in the back of that pick-up. LOL! They've got quite the street party going on by Rogers Arena! Once again, a lot of people were dressed like Brynn today. ;-) We finally entered the arena. The place was looking pretty impressive with all the towels laid out on every seat. It's been awhile since I last worked for the KaiZen Creative Group, but with the opportunity to be this close to a Stanley Cup Finals game, I just couldn't pass it up! Jaclyn, Meghan, and Kathy were all working with me. It was a pleasure working with these girls! We were all in awe of the arena. I just couldn't stop taking photos. Seriously, that looks cool! They're just missing one banner. ;-) Towel Power!!! I could use this jersey! It was time to get to work! Our job was to hand-out Upper Deck trading cards to all the ticket holders that arrived at our assigned gate. The job was so easy and it was pretty fun! After we were done, we got a chance to watch the opening ceremony! We were all excited! The place went nuts when Mark Donnelly began to sing our national anthem! Honestly, the atmosphere in here was nothing short of electrifying! I'm so glad I took this assignment and thankful to Tina for referring me. Game on!!! It's been awhile since I last watched a game here. Where's my main man, Lucic?!? It certainly was an awesome experience!
Gratitude to Tina for the hook-up!!! After work, I made my way over to Granville Street. It was crazy out here too! I decided to see Fatty at the Roxy. I ended-up watching the rest of the game here. Eventually, the numbnuts won in overtime and everyone spilled out into the streets. It's a shame I don't follow this team anymore because it would have been nice to share in the jubilation. It's still quite the sight though. PBO spotted! Nice legs! It's almost like the Olympics of 2010. Almost... Robson Street was busy too! I just had to get out of here. Hey look, I bumped into Shaun! I think he's a fan because he's dressed like Brynn. LOL!

Cynthia Arrives!

I got-up early in the morning to meet-up with Cynthia at the airport. She's the last of the Calgary crew to arrive. It was actually Cynthia that suggested the girls take the Skytrain to save time and money. Arriving at the Sutton Place Hotel... We gathered the rest of the girls and had breakfast at the Winking Judge Pub. I ordered their Prime Rib Suspect. Good stuff, I tell you! Me, Karen, Irene, Cynthia, and Joy... Aimee was off in a corner, conducting a phone interview. Holy smokes, a Junkion! After working-out, I met-up with the girls again at Goldilocks. Took them on a scenic walk by Granville Island... and across the Burrard Bridge. When we got back to the hotel, I spotted the Green Men of the Vancouver Canucks! Force and Sully were getting interviewed right in front of the hotel! Turns out, they're going to Boston as well to watch the Stanley Cup Finals! I did cheer them on when I got to the suite's patio. LOL! I fell asleep while the girls got ready for the Bruno Mars concert. I'm fucken tired.

Calgary in the House!

After work, I met-up with Karen and the girls downtown! They just arrived from Calgary for the weekend to watch the Bruno Mars concert tomorrow. They were a little hungry, so I suggested we go to Samurai Sushi for dinner. Karen, Joy, Aimee, and Irene were amazed at the size of the Sushi that they serve here. LOL! We finished-off the evening with some Gelati at Gelarmony!

Team Background

Yay, breakfast! "Nice clothes, Simon (Showbiz Management)!" ;-) They be cuttin' fences down here! Whoa, I'm (Showbiz Management) working with Surya (In-Motion) today! Maria (Double Agents), Taryn (Local Color), and Chris (Local Color)... Our wrangler, Brynn wearing a Luongo shirt... Actually, I thought it was an Inukshuk. LOL! Ania (JR Talent) represents... Lunch with Simon (Showbiz Management)... Standing in front of a green screen... Thoughts of Bobby Lee's MAD TV skit "Dragon Hunter 2" came to mind. ;-)

Time for Coffee

I had to kill some time after my workout, so I dropped by a JJ Bean for a Mocha. They're good here! I was a little hungry, so I bought a Blueberry Oatmeal Muffin too! I finally met-up with RT and we walked over to Continental Coffee.
Jude said, "I'm hungry." "My bottle, please. Where's my bottle?" "Yeah, I'm the boss!"
Thanks for the Hot Chocolate, RT!!!
