Canucks vs. Flyers

Boris invited me to tonight's game!

And it was in his company's suite!?!  :-)

I watched the game as I ate.  ;-)

As I looked-up into the rafters,

I spotted the retired numbers of my favourite players!  :-)

I missed the first period because I was still asleep at home, so I hoped that the game would go into overtime and then a shoot-out.  And you know what?  It did!

The home team was victorious!  :-)

The Rest of My Life (Day 1)

You gotta love Kevin's sense of humour when he does the call sheets.  Haha!

Of course I'm going to begin this day with Gus!

I get to see more of this guy now that our show is done.  :-)

We haven't seen each other in so long!

After our little hike, we grabbed a bite at Buddha-Full.

Back at Gus' place, I told my doppelgänger to get out...

and meet Angela and Sabrina...

at the City and Colour concert!

We got a pair of Bobos here.  Dallas Green and his band were great tonight!

We were a little hungry after the show, so we went to Bodega On Main.

Not bad for Day 1.  ;-)

Mayoral Duties

Uh oh, someone's up!  It was time to bring him back to his mommie.  :-(

After dropping the Gus Bus, I drove over to Axe Capoeira...

to visit Marcus!  He wanted to sign the thank you cards I bought, so I made a little pit stop.

My last stop of the night... Tap & Barrel...

to see JP!  His was the last signature of the Bridge Crew that I needed.

I ordered their Black Bottom Mason Jar Pie and had a few beer samplers to boot!  ;-)

It was nice night out and eventually the rain stopped falling.  :-)

Tuesday Night Lights

Stef was able to book Rogers Arena for us again!  This time the staff requested us to take our team photos before we played.

Good job Hilda!!!

Carina was one of our fans tonight.  I actually opened-up the scoring for Team Red by making good on a breakaway!

Boris installed a GoPro camera to his helmet for the match.

Canucks vs Oilers

Niko and I were at Rogers Arena tonight to watch the Edmonton Oilers play against the Vancouver Canucks!  His cousin Athina couldn't go to the game, so she gave him her tickets.

I can't even remember the last time I watched an NHL game here.

Niko pointed-out the new banner in the rafters.

There it is!

Pavel Bure's Number 10!!!  The Russian Rocket immortalized above us.

This is so awesome!  The whole time we were watching the game, I would heckle Ryan Kesler because of the way he got Tony fired from his job.  It turns out Kesler's wife was sitting right behind us!  LOL!

While we walked up to the Centre Ice Grill, I heard Bryce call my name, so we picked-up a couple of beers from him!

Since we still had drinks in our hands, we didn't bother going into the restaurant.  Instead, we got Rich to step outside for a photo with us.  ;-)
