Sammie Jo Rumbaua for Park Board

Sammie Jo is hoping to get on the Park Board, so I went down to the Capri Hall to show my support.
In order for her to run, she has to be part of the Vision Vancouver Party.
Mable Elmore, the MLA for the Vancouver Kensington riding was here to say a few words!
If Sammie Jo is successful, she'll be the first Filipino to hold a post at the municipal level in Vancouver!
She's got my vote!  :-)

Happy MOMMIETRON Day!!!

I met-up with the MOMMIETRON at the Vancouver Filipino Seventh-Day Adventist Church to enjoy some brunch!  The men in her congregation cooked-up a storm for all the women in their lives.

Thanks for the grub you guys!!!  :-)
"Hey Mom!  Why are you dressed like a Zouave?!?"
The Zouaves of the American Civil War.
After our meal, I took the little girl to the Lonsdale Quay Market...
for some Pavlova!
Happy Mother's Day!!!  :-)

#NoEnbridge Pipeline Rally

Before attending the rally today, I had brunch with Laila and Niko at Glowbal Grill!
I love these little ketchup bottles!
I had the Lobster Benedict,
but Laila ordered their Waffles!

Big thanks to Niko for brunch!!!  :-)
Later in the afternoon, I went down to Sunset Beach with Rachael and her family to attend the #NoEmbridge Pipeline Rally!
Peter and Jude watching the Salmon Run.
People were showing-up from everywhere!

Peter and Jude got interviewed by Sun Media!
Peter is so well-spoken, it was perfect.
Jude had something to say as well!

We checked out a bunch of the stands...
and signed their petitions.
It was a really good turn-out.
There must have been a few thousand here!
This is where it got interesting though.  The guys on the right were supporters of the pipeline plan.
The protesters on the left voiced their opinion and it looked like it might get violent, but the oil workers just packed-up and left.  :-)
Even Dustin, one of Lila's favourite yogis came down for the action.  Hehe...  ;-)
After the rally, we walked along the seawall towards some ice cream.
Jude and the Inukshuk.
May as well take photos by the laughing statues.
Seems like the A-maze-ing Laughter sculpture was a popular place to display our picket signs.
Please visit noenbridge.ca for more information and join the fight.

Christmas Cats (Day 2)

What the Hell?!?  Who is this Bobo?!?  ;-)
Look who was working today.  Gus (JR Talent)!!!
Uh oh, he commandeered Tinkerbell's water bowl.
Lisa didn't seem to mind though.  :-)
"Gus and the dogs are travelling."
This is the third time I've (JR Talent) worked with Gus (JR Talent) on set!
Haha!  He (JR Talent) still had remnants of a skunk spray.  :-(
Tinkerbell was on the same ride with us.
The rest of the dogs found a place in the shade.
Altogether, there were 20 canines on set today!  I was in Heaven.  ;-)
Demord and Cassius.
Gus (JR Talent) and Cass spent most of the day playing with each other!  :-)
He (JR Talent) got a little tuckered-out, so he chilled under Rachael's table.
Luna.
Michelle has been working on this production, so she finally got a chance to meet Gus (JR Talent)!
Awww, look at him (JR Talent).  He's all ready to reset to first position.  What a pro!!!  ;-)
