Wedding at Gregarious Garden (Day 1)

I had breakfast on the ferry today, on my way to Pender Island! Approaching Otter Bay... Nicholas, Cooner, and Fatty were here to pick me up! Once we arrived at Gregarious Garden, Julia and Gregory prepared lunch for all of us! Most of the food we ate came from their garden. I even ate that flower! Whoa, look at those strawberries! Lila, Nicholas, and Opa... Julia, Gregory, Cooner, and Tamara... "Hail, Gregory!"
Lila made the wreath by the way. He got a hug from his future bride. Posing with Fatty as he chomps down on some strawberries... "Julia, how does your garden grow?" Nicholas took a recess from all the wedding preparations. That's right, "I do." ;-) Wait a minute, am I in Flanders Fields?!? ;-) A beautiful poppy... I love it! The rest of us boys took a break and headed over to the bay to let Cooner swim. The weather was great today! Cooner watched me do a few jumps. The camera finally caught me in mid-flight. This dog likes to hoard sticks. LOL! Yup, he's got another stick in his mouth. We parked in the wheat fields when we got back. Fatty got tickets to the Gun Show. Must have more Mass Fusion! Bryan de Pedrina was here too?!? This area reminded us of the opening scene of "Gladiator". I love this field! It's so pretty. Rose Cottage, I'll be staying here tonight. Gregarious Garden, is there a wedding going on here today? ;-) People began to arrive. Nicholas in the orchard. There was a violinist here! A potluck success! Martha... The reception took place in the orchard. I spotted the brothers. Grandfather and grandson... This one found some time to read. This must be where the wine's at. LOL! Lila and the poppies... Our turn! Cute. The guests began to take their seats. The grand audience... Enter the flower girl... Here they come! Julia finally got her ring! Time to crown the king and queen of the day. The crowd reacted with a big 'Aaahhh...'. Introducing Gregory and Julia Nicholls!!! Signing the papers to make it official... The newlyweds came back out to the patio where Julia tossed a couple of bouquets to the crowd. The family portrait... The only person missing in this photo was Misha. :-( Back in the house... it was time to eat! LOL! Nicholas had a little battle for the meatballs with another guest. Someone else was lining-up for food. "Get in there, Nicky!" The people sure were hungry! Some ate on the patio. "These chocolate balls are the best balls I've ever put in my mouth!" said Lila. ;-) Some ate in the orchard. Hey, there's a cute baby here! Pam and Dwayne...
They're the couple that's letting us stay at their place tonight! The dessert table... Time for another break from it all. We headed towards the trucks. "Moving to the country, gonna eat me a lot of peaches..." The tailgate party... "It looks good from here!" I should have brought my cowboy hat. The big boy... They're calling us back. The special couple's first dance... Father and daughter take the stage... Awww, Fatty danced with his mom. Nicholas' turn... Opa had a short, but very sweet speech for his daughter and his new son-in-law. Time to cut the cake! Cooner eyed some gold. Here's the cute baby again! We returned to the wheat fields again, but this time with the girls. Party in the fields... Cooner was a happy dog. Storm Shadow?!? Even Cooner was lovin' it here! Awww, daddy loves his doggy. A romance novel cover... Fatty in the trees! Shades of our childhood returned when all played hide-and-go-seek amongst the wheat! It was so much fun! :-) Wow! Brothers, Alex and Nicholas turned this part of the orchard into a nightclub! LOL! We ended our day with a walk to Port Washington.
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Nicholls for a perfect day and many more to come!!! :-)
