I drove down to the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver this morning to see Tedi!
She and her classmate Glen had an opening for me at the College Clinic.
Glen and Tedi began with an assessment of my leg pain before my acupuncture session.
I've never had this done before, so I was a little curious about the whole thing.
Ever since I ran this year's Sun Run, my left Achilles tendon and the back of my right knee have felt tight and tender. Tedi told me the treatments were only $23 CAD, so I decided to try it out.
I also had them do a little cupping on me as well! I have to admit it was pretty relaxing.
Big thanks to Tedi and Glen for my session!!! :-)
I decided to take it easy today after the acupuncture treatment, so I called up Viki for a bike ride instead of going to the gym.
I let her try out MOMO for a bit.
It was her first time on a fixie. LOL!
Along our route, we bumped into Kenji and Brenda!
I haven't seen these two since our sessions at the track.
On the way home, we decided to grab dinner at Cambie Pizza. JC just happened to be here too!
Delicious as always Ed!!! :-)

Back on Track
Tara and Todd dropped me off at the Burnaby Velodrome after our hike. I arrived a little early, so I got a chance to do a few laps before our session.
This time Kelyn was our instructor.
He gave us new drills and workouts to learn.
And here we go!
I got the same baby I had last week! She's a good ride.
Rachel was coaching the kids today.

And here we go!
We all seemed much comfortable riding the track this time around.

Monday Bounce
Yay! Justine is back from her internship in Nova Scotia!
The Gangs of PG will never die, just multiply...
Time to bounce to David Lam Park.
Brenda's bike is fixed too!
I met-up with Kenji and Brenda on foot because MOMO's rear-wheel was flat. :-(
After our little session of dog watching, we split-up to meet for dinner at the Noodlebox. They rode their bikes while I took a False Creek Ferry across.
A bowl that would kill Shayna... ;-)
Let us pray.

First Ride of the Year
Meet Otto! He just happened to be walking around with his dad at today's rendezvous location.
Just as planned, Kenji and I went out for a ride this afternoon!
I installed the white wheels back on MOMO.
She also has some new handlebar tape! The ninja was hungry,
so Kenji suggested we hit the Pirate Pub.
A good call because the day got sunny, the patio had plenty of room, and there was a lot to look at from here! ;-)
Here comes the food!Another good call, their House Burger!
It was my first time trying out my newly installed SPDs!
It took a bit of getting used to them at first,
but I think I got the hang of them already!
I guess I can thank all the spin classes for the practice. ;-)
Gratitude to Kenji for his unique photos!!! :-)
After Kenji and I parted ways, I dropped by Shawn and Sarah's place to visit my Shirra!I love this cat! :-)
Eventually, it was time to head home. I must admit, I do take this city for granted. ;-)

JJ Bean & The Afghan Horsemen
After the gym, I made my way down to the Marine Building. I don't know why, but I've always loved the name of this street. ;-)
It's the grand opening week of the new JJ Bean location here!
Kenji came down from his work to meet me!
It's a lovely place. That's what I love about these guys, each location is unique in its design!
Yay, I got a free drink flyer from Kenji!
Thanks Brother!!! :-)
In the evening, it was horsie time!
I met-up with Todd and Tara at the Afghan Horsemen Restaurant.
It's been awhile since I've last eaten here that I almost forgot how much food they give you!
This was the aftermath of the Horsemen Platter. LOL!
I ordered some Ice Cream to top it all off. What a great place!
I'm sleepy now. :-)

LOL! I ran into Rob here, so I asked him to pose with me in front of this vintage record player.
It actually works!
I reloaded the card that Shayna and Justine gave me with $50, but because of a grand opening special, I got an extra 30% more! I love this card!!!In the evening, it was horsie time!
