Package Deal (Day 3)

This morning Angela texted me a photo of Yuko (Showbiz Management) taking the shuttle from Crew Park.
Little did they know, I was working with them too!  Haha!
Eggs Benedict for breakfast?!?  Are you kidding me?  I love the Rolling Chef!
Check out Robyn's (Showbiz Management) plate!
Thai asked me to lead by example, so I (JR Talent) had Mark take a photo of me holding a "#caseforgirls" sign.  Learn about this charity here: http://caseforgirls.org
Mark (Showbiz Management) got into it!
And so did Troy (Showbiz Management),
Angela (Showbiz Management),
Carlo (InspirationAll),
Yuko (Showbiz Management),
and Avery (Local Color)!
Jackie explained his fashion designs to Jamie (Costumes Department) and Robyn (Showbiz Management)...
while Angela (Showbiz Management) helped Cedric with his resume.  We had a good group today and Jamie loved the fact that all our wardrobe changes went without a hitch!  :-)

Trespassers

I had a later call time today, so I was able to check out the Mavi Warehouse Sale!
Once I got to work, I spotted CJ working Locations.  Apparently, last night "The 100" aired the episode in which her son's character dies.  :-(
I (JR Talent) hung-out in a trailer...
since there were only a few of us.
I have to admit, having a ride at your disposal is pretty sweet!

Gus & His Uncles

Gus chilled-out at his Uncle Fatty's place today.
Of course his Uncle Ed was with him as they felt tonight's earthquake!  :-o

Gus Meets Shayna and Angela

"You be a good girl now and stay home."
Just because I have a car now, doesn't mean I'm going to stop using transit.  ;-)
My first stop downtown was the new location of Revolucion at 1063 Mainland Street.  Apparently, Harrison Ford recently made a stop here!
I made a special order with Revolucion and it finally arrived!
It's a stand by Edwin Jagger...

and it's perfect for my straight razor to dry-off on.  :-)
Next on the agenda, meet-up with Shayna!
She's in town for a few days, so she gave me a call to hangout.
We grabbed lunch from Mom's Grilled Cheese Truck!
It was the first time Shayna met Gus!
I think she already likes him.  :-)
Gus seems pretty happy with her too.
Hehe...
Ohhh, will you look at that?  She fits-in already!

Gratitude to Shayna for a Mocha!!!  :-)
After parting ways with Shayna, Gus and I bumped into Angela...
and she took us on a free ferry ride to Granville Island!
The poor guy was so tired, he started to fall asleep inside Opus Art Supplies.
It was Angela's first time meeting Gus as well!  He's getting pretty popular.  ;-)
In the evening, Angela invited me over for some dinner...
and I finally got to meet her cat Lady Bug!  She's so cute.

Thanks for the grub Ange!!!  :-)

The Benefit Gala (Day 7)

Well, it's not exactly the scene we shot last month, but for some of us, it was a make-up day for the one that got cancelled.  ;-)
Simone's foot was trying to photobomb me, eh?
It's been awhile since I've worked at this location!
Gotta love the architecture!
Our holding reminded me of a refugee scene from those old war movies.  ;-)

Fan Expo 2014

I went over to the Vancouver Convention Centre this morning to meet...
Mitchell!
He texted me the day before to see if I was going to the Fan Expo.  I've never attended one, so I thought, "Sure!  Why not?"
There were Ghostbusters!
I freed R2-D2 by removing his restraining bolt.
See?  Now, he was able to hang-out with Mitchell.
Hmmm, a blaster or a lightsaber?
This event has grown so much in the past few years!
This was the artists section.

"I'm sending my apprentice Darth Maul to join you."
Now, I'm the Master Chief!
Toy Traders from Langley had the largest and most impressive display amongst all the merchants!
Not only is Brady Roberts a fitness trainer at the Steve Nash Sports Club, he also moonlights as Nightwing!  Check out his webseries here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxsG1ikKgas
Mitch and I were hungry, so we went across to Cactus Club for a bite to eat.
Ha, we bumped into Broadus here!
After our lunch, we went back to watch Bruce Campbell!
This guy just bleeds charisma.  ;-)
We finally got a photo with the Star Wars peeps!
Oh shit, it's Storm Shadow!
I also spotted the Night's Watch!
I don't know who these girls were supposed to be,
but I preferred the view from behind way more!  ;-)
Oh, here's Artoo again!
This Playboy Bunny was super hot!
Look at this, it's Princess Mononoke and Fatty!  He's always been a fan of that movie.
It's a Velociraptor!
Again, I don't who this girl is supposed to be, but I had to get a photo with her.  Hehe...
Ohhh, the Street Judges!

This event was fun, so I'll probably attend next year as well!  :-)
The CRAFT Beer Market...  Don't even bother going to this place if you have a large dinner party or else you'll just get the runaround with their "no can do" seating policy!
Poor Melody and I arrived 90 minutes early to try and snag seats, but they just wouldn't allow it!  She even tried making a reservation for the 10 of us, days in advance and they never even replied!
So we just adapted and moved our group over to the Tap & Barrel instead.  ;-)
Martina and Jody.
Todd and Christine.
Science Officer Jody and Security Officer Edwin.  ;-)
We had a good group tonight and a better view of False Creek from here!
Big thanks to Melody for organizing this event!!!  :-)
