I had some spare time, so I dropped by Toy Traders before work!

Justin (Lucas Talent) and Greg (Showbiz Management) were on set since this morning.

Justin (Lucas Talent) and I (Lucas Talent) used to work on set together back in 2001!  And here we are again.  :-)

Yuko (Local Color) came by for a visit since she was close by!

Saturday Fun

Kiri was able to convince me to leave my warm bed on this rainy morning and join her in this line-up for the Icebreaker sample sale.  However, we did come away with a few bargains.  ;-)

On the way back to our cars, we stopped by FCUK to see Roxy and Anastasia!

In the late afternoon, I had a bitch of time trying to find Toy Traders!  I eventually realized they moved to a bigger and better location not too far from their original spot.

I've always loved their display cases!

Eventually, I made my way over to Chuck E. Cheese's for Marie's birthday!

My last stop of the night was at Rory and Rhiannon's place for some board game action.

Low and behold, a couple of the guys were playing Star Wars: X-Wing!

Then the girls and I tried Suspend to end their night.

When most of the meeples left, I took over Ed's spot on Pandemic and we cruised to success!

A Day at the Barn (Day 2)

Since our call time was at noon, I dropped by Toy Traders for a little shopping!

Fan Expo 2014

I went over to the Vancouver Convention Centre this morning to meet...

He texted me the day before to see if I was going to the Fan Expo.  I've never attended one, so I thought, "Sure!  Why not?"

There were Ghostbusters!

I freed R2-D2 by removing his restraining bolt.

See?  Now, he was able to hang-out with Mitchell.

This event has grown so much in the past few years!

Toy Traders from Langley had the largest and most impressive display amongst all the merchants!

Mitch and I were hungry, so we went across to Cactus Club for a bite to eat.

After our lunch, we went back to watch Bruce Campbell!

This event was fun, so I'll probably attend next year as well!  :-)

The CRAFT Beer Market...  Don't even bother going to this place if you have a large dinner party or else you'll just get the runaround with their "no can do" seating policy!  

Poor Melody and I arrived 90 minutes early to try and snag seats, but they just wouldn't allow it!  She even tried making a reservation for the 10 of us, days in advance and they never even replied!

So we just adapted and moved our group over to the Tap & Barrel instead.  ;-)
