Gus Meets Charlie!

Gus and I went by the hospital to visit Thai this afternoon, but this time we were accompanied by Angela and Kristen!  Viki was sleeping, so we didn't want to disturb her rest.  ;-)

Gus and I eventually left the hospital and we hooked-up with Kelly and Charlie!

It was the first time our two doggies met and they got along really well.  :-)

We walked them over to the beach, so they could cool-off.

"Let fly!"

We couldn't really find a good stick to toss, so Kelly just kept psyching them out.

LOL!

Look how cute they are as they swim around together.

They were like instant buddies!  :-)

We brought the crew back to Kelly's place where we listened to Emmett play his guitar.  He's actually really good now!

Kelly cooked some of the best frozen pizza on the market, Dr. Oetker's Ristorante Pizza Spinaci!  ;-)

We enjoyed our meal on the patio.

I fell asleep.

Kelly just left me alone in the house with the K-9s...

as she attended her yoga class.

Sadly it was time to part with Charlie,

but we'll be back to play again soon.  :-)

On the way back, Gus and I picked-up the Megatron at Cardero's.

Hit & Run!

I picked-up the Gus Bus this morning...

for a walk in this beautiful weather!

Kelvin and Aiden joined us as we went to Deep Cove.

Gus had fun here...

because he basically had the run of the park!  Haha!

Such a beautiful day, but we got some bad news.

Gus was such a good boy when we went by Vancouver General Hospital to visit...

Thai and...

my Viki.  They were victims of a hit & run accident last night as they were riding home on Thai's motorcycle!  The impact caused the two to flip over the suspect's vehicle and on to the street.  Thai suffered a nasty gash on his right leg and required surgery.  Viki suffered a concussion, 11 broken ribs, and a laceration on her left hip.  Here's the news report: http://globalnews.ca/news/2046463/two-people-in-hospital-after-hit-and-run-involving-motorcycle-in-east-vancouver/

After our visit, some us went to Cactus Club for dinner.

Let's all hope for a speedy recovery for Viki and Thai.

Gino, Gino, Gino!!!

I had a personal training session this morning with Logan Dube at the Steve Nash Sports Club.  She has a scientific approach which makes sense and totally works.  Logan absolutely destroyed my chest with the exercises she gave me today and I saw immediate results!  "Impressive, most impressive..."  :-)

After my workout, I bussed over to the Vancouver General Hospital...

where a flashmob was organized...

to cheer-on former Vancouver Canuck...

Gino Odjick.

We were all shocked by the news of his terminal illness,

so we came down to show our support for the enforcer.

We could see him waving from a window on the top floor as we chanted his name!

He decided to come down to greet the fans...

and thank us for granting his wish.

The crowd went crazy because we all love the big guy!  :-)

Yup, I made sure to wear my jersey too.  ;-)

When I returned downtown, I came by this event at the Vans store!

This was too good to pass-up, but it seemed Lord Vader was not a fan.  Hehe...
