Meeting & Screening
I went over to UBCP this morning for their first ever Stunt Performer Orientation Course.
Christine would love it here! Hehe...
Ohhh.... Harnesses! We learned quite a bit from this course which will be mandatory for new people entering into this field of our industry.
After the meeting, I raced over to the screening of "LifeXP".
Trevor and Cassandra were able to book The Centre for the event!
They go online soon!

The Return of Maeva
Well, well, well... Look who decided to come back!
After five years, Maeva decided to pay us a visit! I met her for brunch at The Oakwood.
Looks like she's been spending time at the beach. ;-)
It was actually her last day in our city...
because she had to leave for...
New York tonight!
We walked the Seawall at Vanier Park...
because she missed it so much.
I also took her to Spanish Banks...
and we lucked-out...
because the tide was out so far today!
We walked on a bunch of the sandbars and I just piggybacked Maeva over the streams.
Time for solidarity at the UBCP meeting. ;-)
I finished-off my day hangin' with my good boy. :-)

It was the perfect time and place for a photo shoot!
I just wish we had Gus with us.
After I dropped-off Maeva, I walked over to Ace Cycles and finally bought one of their jerseys! :-)Time for solidarity at the UBCP meeting. ;-)

High Tea & High Tensions
Yuko, Angela,
Lauren, and Mandi were all here at The Urban Tea Merchant for High Tea!
Yuko Ono and Bobo G deciding what tea to order. Hehe...
I called dibs on the seat beside Sabrina weeks ago...
and I got it! She cut her hair too! :-)
Sabrina, Alex, and Lauren.
Mandi, Ann, Alex, and Yuko.
I ordered the Creme Caramel Tea from South Africa! So yummy!
Can you see Parry Bobo hiding behind our trays of goodies?
Alex wins best-dressed for our luncheon.
That's not ice cream, but I ate it anyway because it was in a cone. ;-)
Such a good time with these peeps! :-)
Angela is an Original High Tea Gangsta! LOL!
Mrs. Jarowicz came directly from The Hamptons. ;-)
If you see these two approaching, walk away because these girls are trouble! Hehe...
The High Tea Gangstas! :-)
Where will we sip next?
Oh look, Jaeger-LeCoultre has a store here in Vancouver! I spotted it as I was walking to my car.
After our meal, some of us drove down to the UBCP office for the Background Performers Caucus Meeting.
We had a good turn-out this time because it was held on a weekend!
A lot of issues were raised and questions asked, so hopefully there'll be resolutions. Our union did encourage us to register with ACTRA Online. Members can create a profile and be a part of a database which casting directors and talent agents can access when they need to hire performers. Get on it and spread the word!

I'm gonna register and I'm sure Ann will too! ;-)
In the evening, it was time for games at Magic Stronghold.
I used my JumpMaster 5000 for the first time, but she didn't last too long in our game. LOL!

UBCP Background Meeting
I attended the Background Meeting at the new UBCP office this afternoon. Look how big their meeting room is now! There was a good turn-out for this one and I gave my two cents on matters of concern. ;-)

Minister Grifter (Day 2)
Michelle and I were back on this show reprising our roles as small town citizens.
Blundstone Boots are the best for this type of environment! They're waterproof and you get a discount if you show your ACTRA, IATSE, or DGC membership when you purchase at the Australian Boot Company. ;-)
DJ said, "At first, I didn't know what I was making, but I guess it'll be a scarf now."
They usually are. LOL!
Production: Click here.
Length of Call: 6 8/10 Hours.
Since we wrapped early enough, I worked-out and then attended the UBCP meeting tonight! :-)
