Happy Birthday Chera!!!

This evening, I bussed over to the Calabash Bistro located in Vancouver's Chinatown district. We all came to celebrate Chera's birthday tonight! Mandy and Justin... A big smooch from Jeff... My girlie drink... LOL! Hey, there's Matt celebrating Nathalie's PhD! Kenji and Brenda... Turns out, Kenji and I both ride fixed! Sadly, the running mates won't be together for this year's Sun Run. :-( Chera will be in Uganda by then. :-) Shayna, Melanie, and Justine have arrived! "Once again, the specials are..." LOL! Natalie in control... LOL! I got the Fry Fish and it was spicy. It actually made me sweat! "I don't always drink beer, but when I do..." This is what interesting men drink. ;-) Cutie pie, Justine hates having herself photographed. LOL! Ben and Voula posing with Chera while Kenji photo bombs! The girls of Douglas College... The restaurant made a special dessert for the birthday girl! It wasn't on the menu, so we couldn't order one for ourselves. :-( At least, Chera let us try it. :-) The loving classmates... Voula knows how to stay married. LOL! I ordered these Brie & Guava Stuffed Dumplings. Chera with late arrival, Erin! Natalie noticed this image. Voula said, "I'll take that." People were dancing while waiting in line to settle-up their bill. Brenda and Kenji liked this little statue! After our meal, we went downstairs for some dancing! Check it out! They still have the building's old elevator here! Chera loves to dance! And so do I! This place is so cool! "Are you ready to rock?!?" I asked, "Are you ready to ROCK?!?" Natalie and Nelson... This evening, I met-up with Kerri, Niki, and Lisa at Joe's Apartment for some karaoke action! Getting a shot with Kerri... Yay! Each of us got a chance to get on stage tonight!

TODD: Legacy

I went over to Todd and Tara's place to record some demo reels late afternoon. Look what Todd got from his brother for Christmas! ;-) Todd cooked a Roast! Later in the evening, we went by Red Robin for a snack. It's been awhile since I've had one of these. It still tastes great! We finished off the night watching "True Grit". Let's just say, I'd own this one! Gratitude to Todd for dinner and the movie!!!

New Year's Day

Jeff's in town, so I helped him out with his squats. LOL! We started off the new year with a walk through Vancouver's West End. We ended-up at Joe's Grill for brunch. Lila in control... My meal actually filled me up for the whole day! Good cheap food here! When we left the restaurant, there was an awesome sunset! We quickly walked over to English Bay Beach. Everyone in the area went crazy with their cameras! It was so pretty. I think I'll use this for my desktop. ;-) "Crane technique... If do right, no can defend." Enter the yogi. Rohanna, Jeff, and Lila... Fatty, the fire-breathing dragon... We just couldn't get enough of this sunset. More group shots... The Popa Fett butt is genetic. ;-) Insert me! Even in this cold weather, you can meet PBOs on the beach! These two were in town from Los Angeles! It started to get really cold outside, so we went to Blenz to warm-up. Miles and Amanda also joined us! I guess we're hangin' with dancers today!Afterwards, Jeff drove us to a private beach in West Vancouver. Nice view from here! Finally, it was time to say, "Goodbye."
