Pincher Creek (Day 5)

All our work is done here, so it was time to leave this wonderful little town.  Sam and I caught the shuttle to the Pincher Creek Airport.  I've worked with this crew member on other productions, but we never even realized that I went to high school with his older brother, Neil!  LOL!

Gratitude to the people at our Super 8!!!  :-)
At the airport now and it was littered with the rest of the production crew!  Turns out their flight had been delayed.  :-(
All our baggage lined-up on the tarmac and ready to go.
Turns out Mocha is the boss of this airport!
See?  She's barking orders to the others.
Some of us waited inside...
and outside.

Cutie pie Dina.  The poor girl's been on the phone non-stop with her friends and family in Egypt because of all the recent happenings in Cairo.
Finally, their plane had arrived!
There goes Charter 2.
Now, it's time to board our plane!
Bye-bye Pincher Creek!!!  :-)
Many thanks to the friendly people of this delightful town!!!
I can honestly say this was the furthest I've ever been for work.  I totally loved every minute of it!
That's the Frank Slide!  It was a landslide that occurred back in 1903 on Turtle Mountain beside the mining town of Frank, Alberta.
In this shot you can see the contrast between the regular trees and the infested ones by the Mountain Pine Beetle.
Entering Kelowna.
Some of the crew were getting off here to work on another scene for this production.
We took some time to stretch and mill about.
Inside the cockpit.
Refueling.
Up in the air again.
Flying over Greater Vancouver.

I was trying to see if I could spot my place.  ;-)
I made some good friends on this trip, like Kun Joo...
and Eric.
I'm back baby!!!

Production: Confidential.
Type of Call: 10 Background.
Length of Call: 4 5/10 Hours (Travel Time).

A tremendous amount of gratitude to Andrea and this production for such an awesome experience!!!  :-)
Later in the evening, I met-up with Jeff and Jess.  We had dinner at SalaThai after watching...
The first one is better.  ;-)
Look who I bumped into at this restaurant, Michael and Claudia!
Posing with Claudia's "Beautiful Husband".  LOL!
And here's a blast from the past.  Jeremy and Greg were eating here too!

If you don't have a car then you would not be worry about airport parking and you would use shuttle service to reach the airport to take your flight for a trip.
cheap airport parking

How exciting feel it is when tourists are in the plan flying high above the sky and view from sky is fantastic moment. Great post.
